First time and last time I'll be here. One person works the whole restaurant. They take orders, cook the food, bus tables, check people out all by themselves. She was immediately rude upon walking into the restaurant. The "owner" sat at the corner of the counter and talked the whole time to guests. I did see him go and take the order of a table that sat down for about 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging them. 20 minutes to come take our order, 45 minutes for her to cook it. Isn't breakfast supposed to be a quick meal? There were other customers walking around with the pot of coffee to fill up everyone since the waitress couldn't do anything else. I don't think this business owns a mop let alone a clean rag to wipe things down. Everything is coated in grease. Floors, tables, chairs, etc. you can tell have not been cleaned since the place opened in the 60's. The bathroom was so nasty I didn't know whether to use the toilet or the floor. I could only imagine what the kitchen looks like if they don't clean anything else. If you don't want to have a chance of getting hepatitis I would go...
Read moreFirst time visiting this morning 3 of us. We walked in sat down and really should have walked out. One lady there cook, waitress, dish washer, and cashier. No one else to help her people started walking in and she took our drink order we had to look around for a menu no drinks she filled them while she was cooking but how the heck were we supposed to know that it is a place where other customers will get up and serve you. She was so overwhelmed she called a gentleman ( possibly the owner Todd ) he tried to get coffee refills, or whatever. Then a young couple with a 8 month old baby and the girl went behind the counter to help she felt sorry for her. Food was average. Wouldnt go back ever it was a mistake this woman is going to burn out dont understand if she is new at owning a restraunt but hire people your going to end up collapsing. Customers should have a sign by the door watch the counter and grab your coffee, water, drinks, then your food because otherwise you will wait she cant do it all cant get a break to go to...
Read moreWe were in Tennessee for the weekend. The hotel we were staying at did not have continental breakfast as advertised. When we arrived at this place we were all starving. I went into the bathroom. My shoes stuck to the floor, the toilet was disgusting, and there was no cold water, so I was trying to wash the soap off of my hands with scalding hot water. My first impressions were, well, not impressionable. I actually considered not eating there. The place all around was very dirty. It could use a very deep clean, however, the food was AMAZING!!!!! It was one of the best Western Omelets I have had in awhile. I am a fan of small businesses as we are one, but my initial disgust turned to impressed. Great food but they really need to focus on getting that...
