Simple Simon's Pizza — Restaurant in Eagle Lake

Do not recommend! I love supporting local businesses and getting away from franchises, but I also enjoy being treated decently where I choose to dine. I came in to an empty counter, which was fine, perhaps they are understaffed/overworked. When a lady finally showed up I carefully inquired about lunch specials, etc. I decided to get the $7 Chicken Alfredo, politely yet pointedly declining any offers to purchase a drink separately, and asked for "just a cup for water." It was definitely my oversight for not asking if there would be a charge for this, but I still balked when my $7 lunch became $10+. When I questioned the lady she said all drinks, including water, were charged and sales were final. So technically yes, I requested a (water) drink, but any other establishment would've told me I would be charged BEFORE swiping my card. I expressed I was unhappy but they were unrelenting and frankly unkind. So how did my $10 lunch come out? Not worth $10, or even $7 for that matter. The Alfredo sauce was lackluster, the pasta was actually cooked nicely, but the "chicken" in "chicken Alfredo" was nowhere to be found. Never going back, I recommend you...
