Texas Seafood & Steakhouse — Restaurant in Eagle Lake

NASTY I tried to eat lunch here today (05/08/2025 @ 1200). OMG, such nasty food. I can see why it wasn't very busy, when every other place in town was.

The salad was brown, wilted, slimey, and totally inedible. The fried shrimp were undercooked, had the trxture of old dead bait shrimp, and tasted rancid. After eating half of one, that was enough. Most of the fries were cold and appeared recycled with a few fresh fries thrown in to make them look good. It didn't work. I left almost all of them. The server could have cared less and was not inclined to help in any way. I went to the register to get the issue resolved. The only response I got was the total amount due and gross indifference to the problem. Surprisingly, the manager was unavailable to talk to. I paid, so not to cause a big scene, but...

I called and placed an order for CHICKEN fried rice . The guy told me 20 mins so we showed up in 25 mins it took them an additional 20 minutes for them to bring my food out . & then when I got home I got the wrong order there was shrimp :( , I picked out the shrimp but at a seafood place yall can not be giving out the “wrong” orders . You don’t know if I could have been allergic to shrimp or not thank god I’m not anyways be more careful I will not be ordering from...
