Taqueria Azteca — Restaurant in Eagle Lake

The first time my husband and I stopped at this place and it was worth it. We were heading to San Antonio and we always passed this place up but we decided to stop on Friday, to try out their food. Wow, if we have know about this place , we would have stop way before. The service when we walked in was very welcoming. The inside was nice and clean and cute decorations. I ordered Gorditas but I should have ordered only one cause they come very full. They sell them by 3 or singles but I thought I could eat two but there was no way. My husband got a got two tacos , one of fajitas and pastor.He didn’t like his tortillas and wished he had gotten corn but the meat was so good in taste that he didn’t care and still ate the tacos. My gorditas was with fajitas and cheese and beans . Those things were so good and freshly made. I forced myself to eat two.If they only had margaritas that would be awesome but instead we had a beer and michiladas. They made the mix of the micheladas perfect. Need to stop by often when we...

I took a seat at a table, waited a good 10 minutes before anyone had asked what I would like to drink.. I had asked for a menu item and did not have it, I then threw them my second choice, did not have it either.. so I had asked them to just bring me some food and salsa while I decide.. came back empty handed asking what I'd like to eat, made my decision.. chips and salsa did not come out before the food.. instead they came with it.. as I'm eating I have no more drink, realize I have no silverware nor napkins.. wait another good 10 minutes someone finally comes by and I have to ask for it.. just not a very good first experience at all!! Is it always like this? Maybe not idk so not going to bash.. but yeah it was most certainly a 1 star...
