My wife and I heard about this place from some cycling friends. We made the 10-mile bike ride on the mopac trail from Lincoln to visit. Excellent drink specials on IPA pints. I tried the Reuben sandwich it was the best I've ever had. The food here is definitely worth the ride. The only negative is they seem to have increased their prices to keep up with inflation. Even with that I still give them five stars. Update for 2023 We rode out from Lincoln for the first Tuesday in May. Once again the the wait staff did a great job. My only complaint is they've developed a small menu just for Tuesdays they're regular menu is not available on Tuesdays. This might be temporary only as they just opened. Still I was disappointed I wasn't able to order the Reuben sandwich like last time. I'm sure we'll be back many times over the summer

We hosted a 50 person surprise party in the private space (basement/ lower level) of the restaurant. The owner worked with us for months ahead of the event to customize this party to meet our needs and recommended food choices, to even table arrangements. The food was fantastic and arranged so easily for our guests to enjoy. We had access to the space early on, allowing us time to decorate. The space allows up to 130+ ppl, super quiet so you don’t hear anything up stairs, a private entrance, bathrooms and a bar (with one bartender). They had a giant TV above the bar which we hooked a slide show to and played our own music. Recommend this place highly for an event! Great food, service, pricing and venue.

Bailey’s Local is your typical comfy small town bar with a big heart and a broad menu. I’ve eaten here on several occasions and walk out with a smile on my face most of the time. It can get a bit busy on Friday nights as quite a few folks flock there. They offer bands on scheduled evenings that you can find on Facebook. Food quality is good, I love the BLT. Drinks are made well and they don’t skimp. There is shaded outdoor seating and a smoking area if need be. The outdoor area is fenced in and offers quite a bit of seating. On and off street parking is available.

I would rate zero or negative stars if I could. This place sucks. I stopped for a meal to take home after a long hard day of work. It took 10 minutes to get waited on and to get a menu, 10 minutes later I flagged down a server and got my order in. I watched as other customers came in after me and were waited on promptly. They received their meals and FINISHED them. I finally got the attention of another employee and asked them to check on my order. After a few minutes I was told that my order had not even been started. I was offered a gift certificate???? REALLY, like I am ever going to go back to get crappy/no service ever again?? The owners of this business need to WAKE UP. You are running a business in small town Nebraska trying to sell $10.00 hamburgers and you can't even turn in an order? Keep it up and you won't last 6 months. They wasted an hour of my day and I went home with no food, which may be a good thing if the food is anything like...

Nice bar, but I'd be cautious with some of the bartenders overcharging, especially when busy. Bought two CCs and Coke and the bill was $20 for me when i went to close out. Friend had ordered 4 CC and cokes plus two shots on his tab. Came back 20 minutes later to close out and his tab was like $82. He questioned it and the Asian bartender with tattoos yelled at him for questioning it. She told him to pay and "Get the f out". We paid and left. Unprofessional for a bartender to yell at a paying customer. She wouldn't even give the rundown of what he had which adds to legitimacy.

Was told she is related to the owner somehow, but not sure if that is accurate.

Suggest you bring cash here and cash only. Probably won't return again based on that. Especially if you are drinking and start a tab. You trust the bartender to get it right. Any service employee that treats a customer like that would be fired by...
