Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Easley

Absolute worst experience at a restaurant in quite a while No one in the restaurant, is 3:30in the afternoon, so 3 other people in the whole place. Food was actually good if we would’ve been able to finish the meal. Service was fine to start, then we received our food. I ordered a steak and wanted A1 sauce, which is very popular and I’m sure most people have specific presences on steak sauce. 10 mins or more trying to get ANYONES attention we finally get our waitress. We needed drinks at this point, bread, ranch that my wife didn’t get, etc. They’re out of A1, how this is possible is beyond me. I was offered other sauces, tried the Heinz and I didn’t care for it. Our waitress then gets into a convo with another patron and we spent literally forever trying to get her to come back over. But this point my wife is done with her food, I’ve had nothing but salad, fries and bread bc I’m not eating a plain steak or with ketchup, it’s completely cold and gross now She comes back over and being nice asked to just have the steak taken off. She’s says “ can you not eat it with ketchup? No I don’t prefer that. “Can you eat it plain?” No “Can you take it home? Do you have sauce at home?” no! I’m not taking a cold steak home to eat when I’ve paid $18 for a meal!!!!! Then the nerve to ask “do you have a pet at home you can give it to? No I don’t have a pet I can give a steak to after I’ve paid $18 for a steak and a meal that I now don’t have and now have to go to get another place to eat. My wife is done eating, it’s been an hour and a half bc the waitress will not stop talking to everyone to come and service her customers. All of this bc she didn’t any to bring this to her manager bc in all honesty she should’ve notified anyone that A1 (a very popular sauce for steaks) is not available for a steak meal!!!!!!!! The manager never speaks to us. Simply takes off a portion of the steak. Still made us pay for each little other thing I ate including the salad, and fries. And bread. Which is free. Absolutely horrible way to treat customers. While I understand I ate these things, it’s ridiculous after what we had been through to nit pick and charge for every little thing other than just taking off my entire meal, especially considering I had to go get another meal...

I'm always the quiet, conservative one in the group. All I asked for was a steak cooked to "medium". I received a "rare" almost raw steak. Our server acted like he was surprised that I stated to him my steak was cooked wrong & acted inconvenienced by this. He even questioned me like I should just eat a very rare steak when I ordered a medium one. He did take it back to the kitchen to cook it to medium. Finally, after everyone else was done eating in our party, I received a very dark "well done" dry (burnt) steak. Our server stated with a smirk, "So, how's your steak?" When he could clearly see it definitely was "extra well done" (burnt). He then acted offended with my response. He then stated loudly, "WELL, I DIDN'T COOK IT! He then said he could go get the person who did cook the steak! He didn't offer to get the manager. I then explained, "First, I got a bloody steak, then a burnt steak. All I ordered was a medium cooked steak. I'm not eating this burnt one & you can take it off my bill." He appeared somewhat offended by this. But he did take the plate back. He never offered to get the manager to assist in the situation. She finally did come out of the back, as we were leaving & meekly asked if I wanted to tell her now about my problem with my steak. I just shook my head. She didn't even respond, not even a quick apology for my steak being cooked incorrectly. She just walked off. We then paid our bill & left. My best advice is to GO DOWN THE STREET TO LONGHORN'S STEAKS! BETTER STAFF, BETTER STEAKS!...

What was once a decent place to eat, has rapidly declined.

Went there Saturday evening around 6pm and it was a busy night. About a 45 min wait time but understandable seeing as there was a full front end. Got seated and ordered our meals and a couple drinks. Bread and drinks came out and we patiently waited for the food. 45 mins go by after ordering and I asked the waitress how much longer and she said it was getting plated now. The meal came out and it was cold, no surprise there. I took one bite and told the waitress that this meal wasn't going to cut it as is. She said she could take it back and throw it back on the grill to heat it back up.... I decided that wouldn't work because it would cook the steak past what I ordered and she decided it was something I needed to discuss with the manager. He came out and reassured me that it was plated and brought out as soon as it was finished, which it obviously wasn't as the inside of the potato was cold as well. Regardless, he offered to replace the meal and everything seemed good and that resolved the issue. However, the next morning, myself and the person I dined with woke up to a bout of diarrhea and a mild case of food poisoning. If I didn't have good previous experiences and if the matter hadn't been taken care of by the manager in regards to the cold food, this would have been a one star rating. All I can say is pick the time you go and what you order off the menu very carefully if you don't feel like playing cold food/food...
