Maddalena’s Cheesecake Company — Restaurant in East Amwell Township

I have been driving by this place for over two decades and finally stopped.

If you drive between New York/New Jersey to South Jersey or Philly, this is a worth-while spot to pick up a delicious cheesecake to give to whoever you may be visiting.

Yes, the cheesecake was delicious! It was quite light and airy but also very creamy with a sweet, unmistakable flavor that will have you going back for another taste till it's gone. I was wondering about the ingredients and if they used a local source for their milk/cream because it really was quite special.

The store itself is just a tiny little space with very friendly staff who will kick off friendly conversation.

Space consists of two large glass counter cases filled with various selections. They offered samples too. In addition they had iced coffee and apologies I can't remember exactly but some kind of frozen lemon drink that looked really good and I should have tried it.

Seemed like some other snack or sweet selections available like cookies etc.

I thought the cost for a cheesecake was quite reasonable.

We will probably stop again in some months when we hit the road again....

i was looking around for a place that sells really good cheesecake, because visiting junior's or Eileen's in NYC doesn't make sense every time. and i am glad i visited this place. We tried the Vanilla cheesecake, spinach quiche and some gelato. the flavors are still dancing in my mouth. this is by far the best cheesecake in NJ and one of the best in the world. i have tried cheesecakes from almost everywhere and this is right up at the top with the Junior's and others big places. the people are very warm & friendly and they have good options available. the freshness, vanilla flavor and the creaminess of the cake is outstanding. i am going to be a regular...

This was one of our favorite touches to our wedding day. They made the most beautiful three tier cheese cake that our guest raved over!!!! One week later I still have friends reaching out to me asking where it came from, and if we have any extra to share. We of course did not share- and ate all the extras post wedding- though one of the groomsmen did sneak off with a lot of it. Though delicious the cake also had so much sentimental value as well- my parents also had their cheese cake at their wedding, and it has been at every big event through out my childhood. We can not thank them enough, and cant wait to have their cakes at our big celebrations...
