Tuesday night is Taco night. St. Cloud Hotel Restaurant is located in East Brady, PA. A small but nice restaurant next to the St. Cloud Bar. The restaurant is isolated from the bar and is actually quite quiet. I had 3 huge tacos priced at $2.00 a piece. They were huge and stuffed to the brim with Taco meat and all the ingredients that a Taco should have. I especially loved the Taco shell, which was a bit different. Instead of the usual choice of soft or hard Taco shell, their shells appeared to have been a home made soft shell that was either quickly deep fried or lightly toasted to give you the taste benefits of a cross between a soft and hard type shell which I found very tasty. My wife had the Taco Salad, which was $6.95. It was a huge salad, and there was ample amounts of meat and sides, and it was surrounded with some sort of triangles fried peada bread. I'm not sure exactly what it was but truly different and delicious. We walked out with a bill that was under $15.00 for the both of us! I've been to other locations where I've spent $17.00 for just 3 tacos, and I can honestly say that these beat the high-end restaurant's tacos hands down. Sometimes it's nice to find a small local town restaurant that serves very good food that does not cost you an arm and a leg. My wife and I have eaten at the St. Cloud Restaurant many times in the past and have always been pleased with the quality, portion sizes, and price of our food. As long as you are not looking for a fancy decor and you enjoy a clean small town restaurant. (Nothing fancy, friendly type place) I believe you will enjoy your meal here. I wish I would have had my phone to take a few pictures. Next time, I will post...
