Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in East Brewton

Well when it 1st opened food was great and service was great now it's gone down hill went in this pass Saturday and every employee was complaining not people did not show up people looked they had no clue what was going on and only focused on drive thru with a full lobby, my family and I waited until 10am To go inside to eat lunch we placed our order and sat down and waited 45 mins went by and still no food or my kids shakes as I went up to the register they called our name when the food came in was all breakfast food that we did not order so we had decided to get a refund and go somewhere else .. ypu could tell the mangers were working hard but very over welmd.. this was a nice place at 1st but very sad what it's become .. jacks please remember on most Saturdays people from other towns come to brewton for p.wee football at Neal high school it's going to be busy morning and afternoon hire new people who want to work and be there on time because Saturday really changed how we felt about our newest restaurant in town and I don't think...

Food was great. The lady who actually took my order was very pleasant. When my order came, my drink was missing. The lady was busy, so my granddaughter asked the gentleman cashier about getting my drink. He very rudely snapped, what drink? She told him my sweet tea, he said, he didn't take the order so he didn't know anything about it. HE IS THE ONE WHO PUT THE FOOD ON THE TRAY AND SET IT ON THE COUNTER. By this time, the original lady had finished with her customer and came to take care of thinks. Again, she was very nice, apologized for the error and delay. We assured her there was no problem with her and thanked her for her kind service. I wish I had gotten the man's name, I should have any reported him to corporate. We enjoyed coming here when it first opened. The food was good and the prices were great. I always get the hamburger steak dinner ($6). However, within a month of opening I noticed that the portions were getting much smaller. Instead of 4 hamburger patties it was now only 3. The portion of mashed potatoes drastically decreased, to the point where you literally get about 4 teaspoons. We went through the drive thru a couple of days ago, and when we got home, I noticed that the number of hamburger steaks had dropped to 2, and no gravy! Not to mention, you wait in line (inside and drive thru) for way too long. The customer service has declined, as well. The staff can be rude at times. It's just not worth it to go anymore.
