Rivieras Pizza & Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in East Cocalico Township

The manager is awful to talk to on the phone. Whenever one of the ladies answers, they always know where I'm calling from, but the manager always asks "where are you calling from?" Why do they (the girls) know it and not him? They are repeatedly late. I asked for something to be delivered at 11:50 and it arrived at 12:05. I am in a position where I need items to be on time and this lateness reflects poorly on me. Typically, Riviera's staples a receipt onto their bag. The first time they forgot, I asked for them to fax it over and they did. The next time they forgot, I called and got the manager. He asked what number I called from, and since we have many extensions, I told him what number. He said, "I don't have that number, so I can't look up your order." I asked him if there is another way to look it up? He said, "no." That's it. He didn't try to help me figure it out or anything. He told me he would fax the receipt, though. I told him my address and my total and I figured he would be able to figure it out from there. Never got the receipt. So either he A: lied about intending to send me the receipt, or B: never bothered to look it up. UNPROFESSIONAL. Today I asked for an ETA on the delivery guy (I placed an order at 11:30am for 3 sandwiches, it is 12:17, still no sign of them), and the manager told me that he's on his way. I asked for an ETA. He said, "I don't have an ETA." when I questioned him, he said, "He could be there in 2 seconds, he could be there now, I don't know." I said, "Okay," and then he hung up. Just hung up.

We order from Riviera's ALL THE TIME because the food is really good and they deliver. It's not as if I am a one-time buyer -- I'd say I order $20+ lunches at least once a week. However, I will not buy from them again. I've complained too much and the manager is so unprofessional. I believe his name is Dave Gomez but I...

Edit: I wound up visiting the location after tonight's events to speak to the manager one on one. He gave me a 30 dollar gift card even though it wasn't asked. He seemed sincere with his apology. The food here is good and one of the better places for Italian food in the area, so I'll give them that. I hope this experience and situation can be a learning experience for the manager and his associates to provide better customer service.

This is the last straw with this establishment. Not only do they take absolutely forever for anything , the manager has no customer service skills. Three times in a row our order has been messed up ontop of over an hour wait. First time, ordered a dish and specifically asked for Alfredo sauce not red sauce. Delivered with red sauce. Second time. Wife has a severe food allergy to mushroom. Specifically asked no mushrooms. Food was delivered with mushrooms. Third time. Wife ordered for delivery , an hour plus goes by and my wife calls asking where the order is.. manager stated the computer ran out of paper and don't print the order so it was forgotten about because it didn't print on a slip and instead the order was on the computer . My wife with a broken leg and 2 and half year old daughter were stuck waiting close to 2 hours for their dinner. Unfortunately I was just getting off work and couldn't handle this situation. The manager didn't do a thing to compensate my wife. Didn't take ownership of the mistake or anything. I'm sorry but as a manager you take ownership of your mistakes. You make it right by the customer for your screw up. Not to mention we've given this place multiple chances even after a possible deadly situation with the severe food allergy my wife has with mushrooms. Yet here we are continuing to order form this absolute terribly...

Amazing!!!

It's very rare to find this quality! Fresh baked bread is awesome! Just arrived here, moving from SW Florida, and the hotel employee @ Comfort Inn suggested Riviera's for delivery, and our first meal in PA could not have been any better! The FRESH baked yeast bread (that's not thick, but thin which is great for sandwiches) was unbelievably good, real steak for cheesesteak, NOT overly full of sodium like most restaurant food, DELICIOUS! I could eat the bread plain and be completely happy! And the amount you get, the quality of the food, and the price is a very RARE find - cheaper, healthier, and better than any fast food restaurants, or any restaurants in general!!!

We really appreciate the availability of such HIGH QUALITY food, and to be able to have it delivered, and so quickly, and at such a great price, it was totally unexpected! We will definitely be eating here a lot in the future. I have to be careful about sodium, but since I haven't eaten well on our 4 day drive, I took a chance (I rarely eat restaurant & processed foods, especially things like Italian foods that have a lot of salt unless you make yourself), and I was very happy to taste that the cheesesteak sandwich I ordered was NOT as salty like most restaurant food is, so I was able to eat the amount I wanted!
