Peking — Restaurant in East Drumore Township

New to the area, wanted to find a decent Chinese food restaurant. This was not it. Place was dirty! Too much storage all over the place! Outside is deceiving. Pork fried rice had 2 pieces of pork in it. Shrimp with beef had no flavor, chicken was dry. Egg roll was over cooked. Pork dumplings were bland. Definitely disappointed. Won’t go back!! Found a place 20 minutes away that was 199 times better. Rather travel there next time. It’s a shame, would have liked it to be better since it’s so close. Was not impressed at all!! We’re new to the area, and we had a go-to Chinese place for many years. In search for a new one, we tried Peking. And we certainly found our new go-to!

Their fried dumplings are actually crunchy, which is for some reason a rarity with other Chinese places. The orange chicken is spicy, but not overpowering, perfect balance between spicy and sweet.

Their prices are also very reasonable, and the girl working at the desk is very nice. Will be coming back! 10/10 the best Chinese place we’ve gone to so far in the different areas...

Food is ok. Nothing really amazing but it’s not bad either. Then again I wasn’t expecting amazing Chinese food in a strip mall in rural Pennsylvania. Prices are good too and they usually have my food really when I go to pick it up. They are very fast.
