4 and 1/2 stars so I figured it had to be good. The bartender was very pleasant and helpful. For lunch I was talked into ordering the chicken parmesan by another bar patron who said it was really good. You can really tell from that type of meal how good the restaurant is. I was given a lunch portion that was quite large. This should have been my first tip off and I should know better by now. Okay, the penne pasta that comes along with it was so overcooked it was drooping. And the marinara had an overabundance of sugar in it and was way too sweet for my taste. I powered through it scraping off as much sauce as I could and then sticking the chicken in between some garlic bread that I was given. Finished that and left the pasta. He was one of there first customer from their hole in the wall when they opened 40+ years ago. I had 7 party pizzas and went with bottle soda at $6.50/$7.00 each. Although I believe it says $2.99 each. I asked if they had diet for someone to be told "If they where not trying to be so cheap, there is fountain pictures at $6.50" I did not say I was the host and ordered a cup of diet. I also had a salad, and a few other meals and salads ended up being order. I have had several parties there. We bring in some popcorn and snacks. Nothing has ever been said. I was told it was not allowed and I was to order snacks from them. I know I now live in Florida but I already have family and friends who heard this and will never go...

No apology for overcharge and told to never order from them again. First time I ordered a burger - requested M - it was hard and dry. I ordered it MR this time, and it was hard and dry. So this time I went back and the owner told me, among other things, to get the F* out of his restaurant. He doesn't need my business. He asked me: Do you know how busy I am on Friday night. I make a lot of money and don't need you. This was an extremely alarming response to the far-from-irate way I interacted with him.
