Hell's Hollow Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in East Lackawannock Township

This place is anything other than Hell! It’s so refreshing to walk in to a place rich in agricultural history but yet comfortable, relaxing & with surroundings that make you feel like you’re part of the family! The food is top notch & very reasonably priced. We have a small group in Canton, Ohio that went here for the first time last year on a golf package. This was the last stop on our little week long golf tour. We were at Oglebay before our final stop at Spring Valley & I gotta tell ya……NO COMPARISON! Hands down winner was Spring Valley. Oglebay’s food was not very good at all & the accommodations were ok. As a matter of fact, with as many golfing places that there are to go to, we will probably put this on the repeat mode every summer. The golf course has become one of our favorite courses….it’s challenging & maintained like a top notch course. Bottom line: Great food….check. Great atmosphere….check. Great golf course….check. This place is a little slice of heaven tucked away in Mercer, PA. The staff there are so open and inviting. I stayed 2 nights with friends and golfed, ate and enjoyed myself so much. It made me feel like I had known them all my life. The food was amazing. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and the food was amazing. A truly joyous place to hang out after golf or even if you don't golf, like me. The daily food specials often are made from recipes that have been in the family for years. Barb will share her mom's secret ingredients with you if you ask. Bob will delight and entertain you while mixing up your drinks. The Mills young adults can serve up some great cocktails as well. Always a fun time inside the bar or out by the fire ring...
