The tour was the highlight of our visit. We learned about their distillery (history/process/future plans) and saw that they make other products besides alcohol: like acetone, window cleaner, etc...
I knocked stars off the review because our waitress (younger woman with a lot of tattoos) was very inattentive. We sat down and waited for someone to take our drink order long enough that we wondered if we did the wrong thing by just walking in and taking a seat - like we're we supposed to wait to be seated?? (Being our first time here - we were unsure - there were no signs or anyone to tell us where to go or what to do)... Then, when we finally got drinks, we had planned on ordering food as well, but she didn't come back. So we continued to wait for a while and she finally returned with the bill - so we paid and left.. Finished our date night out at champs bar instead. So that was a bummer - I really wanted to like this place but the service received can really ruin the whole experience for a first-timer. The best service seemed to be up at the bar for anyone considering this place for...
Read moreI give this place five stars because of it's, I don't know how to say it, it's kind of a unique small little place with some outdoor sitting and indoor sitting separated by a garage door. This place is a Distillery so I think they do tours of the back section all of their Liquors I believe they make themselves drinks are great with a fabulous presentation. I don't know how to describe it but it's a cool place for a change of place and a stop. there's really not food here but there's higher and bar food more like snacks but higher end. So I'm not giving it five stars for food but your snacks are five star all day. the service here is really not service because it's such a small place so I'm not giving service five stars all the people who are there are nice and I'll give them five stars for being who they are. and do a good job it's just not so much like a service. you're just all kind of there if that makes any sense. They're taking care of your knees but it's not like your typical restaurant service. but it's a neat little place to stop at and enjoy a...
Read moreGreat local distillery. Location is a little weird, but once you get there, it'll be an enjoyable experience. I went for a drink once after work and the place was empty. Had a few drinks and asked if they do tours by chance. They agreed to take me around their facility showing me the whole process. Was very interesting seeing the different types of stills they use for different types of alcohol.
They had a good selection of drinks but even more impressive selection of mixed drinks. I really enjoyed their take on the classics. The Manhattan and the Old Fashioned were both amazing.
They have some "corny" bourbons like the red, white, and blue corn bourbon. But overall I love the local ingredients and the story they tell with their drinks.
The staff was great. The only issue I had was with the lack of food selection. It was disappointing that they dont cook anything and only serve premade platters you could buy from the grocery store. It'd be better if they had food trucks or allowed food deliveries than upcharged...
