Went there at sunset for a breathtaking sunset over the river, which was worth the trip. The service and food, however, could use some improvement. There was no hostess, we sat ourselves, and it took about 10 minutes to get a server. The servers seemed to be picking random tables and was chaotic. I ordered a sidecar, but it came with salt instead of sugar on the rim. My husband had the smoke and mirror, which tasted like drinking burnt plastic. We ordered food, and at 6 pm, they were out of the steak bites, so we got the crab cakes caprese flatbread. The crab cakes seemed store bought, and the flatbread was a bit soggy and cold. The location feels a bit unexpected for East Moline, but it’s definitely a welcome surprise. There’s a certain charm to this place, almost like discovering a hidden gem in an unlikely spot. They didn’t quite meet expectations in terms of taste, leaving me a bit disappointed. On the bright side, the atmosphere is great, with a solid view of the river that adds to the overall ambiance. If you’re there for drinks and the view, it’s definitely worth a visit, but I wouldn’t rely on the...
