I wish this particular McDonald's could get 0 stars. Ordered a small coffee one day, on my way to work. They asked me to pull up to wait. 4 other people behind me got their order and drove away. I don't understand the hold up for 1 small hot coffee. Nothing fancy. Then when they finally handed it to me, the young girl just rolled her eyes at me. There was no...sorry for the wait, or thank you for waiting. Nothing. Just an eye roll. And attitude as she handed me my coffee. A customers time means nothing there apparently. I called in later to speak with a Manager, Stefan. He was very apologetic. Told me to come back while he is there, and he will make me a fresh coffee, on the house. That's all fine and dandy, but when I went back the following week, another young girl with horrible customer service. Look, I understand working at McDonald's isn't the greatest. But when you're working drive thru, employees should have a certain level of customer service. No matter how small or big the company is. You are the face of that company. You are who people see. You're representing McDonald's. I understand you may not be super proud. But McDonald's, like many other food industry restaurants, thrive or perish, based on their customer service or lack thereof. You can either gain or lose customers because of this. If you have a sour disposition, maybe you should work in the kitchen or in the back, where you don't have to deal or see a lot of people. I'm guessing this restaurant doesn't have that timer meter for the drive thru, like some fast food places. It's sad that I gotta rethink if I want to go there for coffee, just because of the poor...
Read more3/25/2023 Always check your bag before leaving the drive-thru and always ask for a receipt. There is a thin young black guy and a middle aged mexican lady that were working there in the a.m. when I ordered my breakfast. I have been there twice and both times they got my order wrong with the same meal. I always order the bagle, bacon, egg and cheese meal. The first time I was given a steak egg and cheese. Not even close. And she had the nerve to say thats what I ordered. Unfortunatly, I did not ask for a receipt to prove what I ordered. The Mexican lady refused to change my meal, but I would not give up. After 5 min of arguing with me, I saw the young guy go through the receipts and he found mine which corroborated what I said. I then saw him go to the lady and show her the receipt. She finally gave me what I ordered with no apology. The 2nd time I asked for a coffee and a coke with my 2 breakfast meals. They gave me 2 cokes. I told the young guy that I ordered 1 coke and 1 coffee. Anywhere else they would just make the exchange, but the lady trained the young guy to be her minion, as he insisted that that was not what I ordered and he would not give me a coffee. Once again, I had to argue with him to give me what I ordered and he said no. After a few minutes of a back and fourth he talked to the manager, who took my order, and shd told him I had indeed ordered a coffee and coke. He then made the exange and once again with no apology. I love McDonalds, but these two workers suck.If you hate working with the public then get a...
Read moreGrew up here. I'm 25 years old. Don't eat McDonald's that often, maybe once every 3 months?
Anyway, I've never run into a problem with this place. Well, once upon a time they often gave me exceedingly cold fries, but they haven't done that in many many years. Like, over a decade. Fries are always hot. Guess I coulda just got lucky but... well, like I said. 25 years.
Nevertheless, after receiving your order, do pull up and check your bag. Aside from that being a good protocol for any fast food joint, a small handful of times throughout my life, they've messed up my order. Humans are fallible, and it hasn't happened very often at all, and they've always remedied the issue when I complained, thus I still keep this 5/5.
Oh yeah, and I have no idea why, but the past few years these guys have had shamrock shakes for a ridiculously long period of time after they were supposed to. I remember one year they had them for nearly the entire year. It was so absurd that I asked them why. They said it was because they still had a huge surplus of the stuff. Not sure if that's still a thing now, but figured thats a good data point for those who love shamrock shakes. I'm not a massive McDonald's fan, but heck if I don't love shamrock shakes. If you don't, you're either permissibly ignorant or very...
