Andre's Pizza — Restaurant in East Nottingham Township

This place was horrible, in every sense of the word! We are new to the area so I thought I would stop in for a bite to eat. The guy behind the counter, who I can only assume was the owner, looked miserable and was not friendly by any means. He never smiled or said hello, all he said was “what can I get you”. When I asked about his lunch specials he just said “they’re on the board” and nodded in that direction. The board was a poster with pictures and some writing which was crossed out when he wrote in his new pricing. I was actually a little surprised to see they were so high especially for a lunch specials but I ended up ordering 2 cheeseburgers lunch specials that came with a fountain drink and fries, for myself and my sister. He then told us to just go sit down in the dining area, which we did. When the food arrived my sister tried exchanging pleasantries with the other guy who served us and he never even bothered to acknowledge her. Mind you she is special needs so that pissed me off a little too. Anyhow, when I saw the burger I was like “seriously”. First off I could barely see the burger on the bun…it was basically all bread. The bread was stale although they tried to cover that up by heating up the bun (it didn’t work). The patty had 1 piece of cheese on it and it looked like it had been cooked in a microwave. The patty was some nasty premade thing and it was gray in color. It looked like they tried to throw one side of it on their fryer to make some sort of grill marks but that was a waste. The patty also had a weird smell to it. The thing never came with lettuce or tomatoes although the picture had lettuce and tomatoes on the burger. I was reluctant to eat it but I was hungry so I took 1 bite…I was done. I ate a handful or fries after that and nothing more. When I brought the plate back up to the counter the little guy who served us the food asked if I wanted it “to go”. I said “no”. He asked me again and I said “no” again then he said “was there something wrong” so I said “I didn’t like the burger” that was it, but he still charged us $27 for both lunch specials. Never once offered to take it off the bill or just charge me for the fries and soda at least. Complete rip off and not a nice place to go for a meal. Find someplace else to eat if you can. I will never go back there and I will be sure to tell everyone I come in contact with about this awful experience. Like I said to my sister, McD’s makes a better burger and it would’ve cost us a lot less $$$ to go there….and that’s saying something because I rarely eat fast food. I should’ve known better when I noticed there was only 1 car in the parking at 2pm on a weekend that something wasn’t quite right here or when no one was actually...

Thought this place was going to great because I saw some Liscio’s roll boxes outside. The place itself is nice. What you would expect of a pizza shop. The guy that took our order wasn’t nice. He seemed like he didn’t want to be bothered by us. I took some time to look over then menu and he was rolling his eyes and grunting. So I ordered and he barely spoke a word to us. So we stood there waiting to pay and he just looked at us and said “go sit”. The food came. The slices we ordered were good. Not anything to rant about. The sub looked like it was just thrown together. I took a bite and noticed a small hair on it. Thought it was my eye lash and took a further inspection. In the middle of the sun was this long black hair. I took it back and said something to the guy and he seemed like he didn’t believe me. It was me and another guy with short haircuts the only person in the building with long black hair was the unpleasant guy that took our order. Anyway they gave me another. It was okay. Still looked like it was just slopped together. If I ever come through here again I’m going to keep on driving right...

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I received a small triangle shape portion of bread. It was fresh in fluffy’s, and Delicious. I ordered an entrée that came with a small house, salad and house dressing. I have to say it was probably the best dressing I have ever had in my dining experience. Multiple robust flavors and seasoning conjugating with my taste buds at the same time. The server Sabrina was very accommodating as I came somewhat late. During the last hour of service made me and my partner feel comfortable and welcoming, even though they were preparing to close. I have to say it’s been a while since I have frequented this restaurant and I will definitely be coming back in the near future and will be my new weekly stop. Thank you to Sabrina and the staff for making my Thursday night dinning experience...
