Well, Best Pizza ended up being a memorable experience at least! We ordered a pizza at 11pm following our arrival at our hotel. We were told the delivery time was 45 minutes, and by 12:15 am I called Best Pizza to get an update as to why there was a half an hour delay. The Best Pizza employee would not give me an ETA on when it would be delivered so I stated I was canceling my order since I had to wake up at 4am for my flight. The employee than said that we should not cancel the order since my pizza had been "in transit" since 11:25 and would arrive at our hotel shortly. That means the pizza was sitting in the car for a total of 50 minutes!! I then told him I definitely wanted to cancel my order and he ended up just hanging up on me. My wife and I than went to bed, only to wake up at 12:55am at the pizza delivery man banging on our hotel door (meaning the guy I talked to on the phone did not deliver the message that my order was canceled and also it took 1 hour and 55 minutes for my pizza to get delivered). The delivery man aggressively knocked on the door for 2 minutes only to than have the front desk call our hotel room. We did not answer for the following reasons: 1. we were sleeping 2. we had to wake up in 3 hours 3. The pizza sat in a car from 11:25 to 12:55 and 4. It took almost 2 hours to be delivered to us!! Read moreVery frustrating! Traveling and ordered a pizza for my family from the hotel. Website says pizza will be 40 minutes. Okay, it’s 9:30, we should have our pizza, half cheese, half mushroom by about 10:10-10:15, right? After placing the order I get a message saying we will get it at 10:40! Then another message almost immediately saying 11:00. I call and try explaining that I need it ASAP because I have two kids I’m trying to feed and get to bed. Can my husband just come get it? No. They will deliver it. They will deliver it faster than the texts say. 10:20pm. Pizza gets here and is all mushroom. My autistic 9 year old won’t touch it. Now I have to go buy her something else because they messed up our order. I call to complain and ask for a partial refund as I will now have to buy something else. Someone picks up phone and hangs up. I call back. Manager answers phone, I tell her about the problem and my request. She puts me on hold for nearly 5 minutes before I give up and hang up. An employee calls me back almost 15 minutes later to say they are going to bring us a cheese pizza. Sorry, too late. It’s late, my kid is now eating some cereal I bought her in the hotel lobby. I want a partial refund. Nope. I bought through their website so no refunds!! And to boot, the pizza sucked. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I would give zero...
Read moreI'm upset that I have to even give this place 1 star. The ease of ordering online was great, but the customer service is terrible. I can't speak to the quality, taste, or freshness of the food because my delivery never came. I placed an online order at 10:25pm & received an order confirmation at 10:30pm; which projected my delivery time as 60 mins. By the time 11:50pm rolled around (20 mins past the indicated delivery time) I gave the restaurant a call. I was placed on hold for 5 minutes; then I was told it was on the way & would be there in 15 mins. So 25 mins (12:15am) later... Still no pizza. I called the restaurant back to inquire yet again and he says another 20 mins; the driver is on the way. After waiting 2 hours for a pizza I told him they could keep it. It literally takes 30 seconds to call a customer & update them on the status of their order. I understand that delivery times can vary, but 2 hours is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for anything that isn't being freshly slaughtered.
