IHOP — Restaurant in East Side

I ordered IHOP to go online this morning ... I picked up 3 orders for a few of my friends .. first suggestion is there should be some sort of special parking for to go orders .. I easily had $70 worth of food including drinks and there were no close parking spots availble they are all handicap or taken I had to park all the way by the diesel station ... it was very busy due to it being Sunday and a prime vacation time in the area .. which was completely expected when I went inside there was 5 people already standing in the restaurant in front of me about 3 minutes into me standing there the hostess asked the first party of 2 people how many and their name than she walked away never acknowledged the other 4 of us standing there not even a sorry I'll be with you in a minute anything would of been better than plain nothing ! The hostess came up front checked a chart or some kind of clip board and left again now by this point more people are pileing in the resturant .. and I was still not acknowledged I've been in the resturant 10 minutes and I'm watching them throw the to go orders in the little cubby hole things finally a man came over and asked was there anybody waiting for an online order the lady that was there before me also had an online order she got her food than the guy got my orders all together for me he was super nice the food was cold but you can almost expect that from to go orders so i really dont have any complaints about the food but maybe some suggestions .. Acknowledge! Acknowledge! Acknowledge! My whole experience would of been soo much better if someone would of just acknowledged me i could see they were busy but a simple I'll be with you as soon as I can would of been soo much better ! Also maybe have a spot for people to go pick up online orders like a sign ? Online orders over here ? And also maybe a warmer for the to go orders... I dont know the regulations or anything like that but me just watching my food get cold in the cubby hole things because nobody was waiting on me was a...

Ok, im going to review this restaurant with this caviat: i understand that this ihop is at a truck-stop so appearance and atmosphere is not really their fault. So its adjoined by a truckers convenience store an a gas station is outside. I can do these 5 hr drives without eating. But on the second hour of driving i know my lovely wife is hungry...so i ask her if shes willing to eat at this ihop, she said yes. Well she order french toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. I ordered pancakes and scrambled with cheese. Ok ive done ihops in the past and my major complaint is none of the food is ever hot, neither the eggs, the meat or the pancakes, so this was no different everything tepid or cold..but the scrambled with cheese was downright terrible: the cheese in the cold scrambles was a dark orange and had a geletin like quality to it...i wondered if they melted it with diesel exhaust and fried to whole egg mixture in recycled truck oil. Im not being facetious...the cheese had to be old or some below grade of cheddar. So wife has a steel stomach and was able to finish her food, but i took 3 bites of the pancakes, ate one and a half of my cold sausage, two fork-full of the cheese eggs, and it was all...

Came here with the family on our way to the local state park. The waitress was terrible, kept passing all the food down from on side of the table instead of serving each pwrosn what the requested, forgetting what we asked her to bring to the table (drinks, creamers, napkins, etc) and we had to keep asking other waitresses for assistance. Food orders came out and several items were incorrect. Then the food was absolutely terrible (mushy hash browns, unseasoned meats). With all of this, we didn't complain, just ate our meal and checked out. Gave the waitress a $10 tip that she hadn't even earned, walked away and returned because we'd left something, and overheard same waitress complaining about the $10 tip we'd given. She's lucky we believe in tipping no matter how bad the service is because she hadn't even earned that! Don't give poor service and expect to be tipped based on the size of the bill, that's not how this works. We paid for all the nasty food we were served, we were polite and didn't complain about all the issues, and still tipped. Worst...
