I don't know much about Indian food, so I mostly order random entreés off of the menu. However, I've enjoyed everything I've had from Eat Spice: samosas (fried pastry shells filled with potato, green peas, and a moderate amount of chili pepper; a good standalone snack), curries, biryani (a rice dish with simple ingredients but great aromatics and good flavor), kadai (a creamy stew with what I think is a tomato base).

Again, I don't really have much knowledge about Indian food, but look up some of the items from their menu (there's a few pictures on Google Maps) and order something that appeals to you.

While the food is good, I find the atmosphere a little off-putting. This is literally a gas station, complete with weird bootleg aphrodisiacs for sale on the counter, harsh lighting, and spartan décor. I'd recommend the owners quietly play some music or a radio station, add some colorful accents to the dining area, maybe add some descriptions to menu items for clueless customers, preferably with a pronunciation guide. Just some suggestions.

There's also a menu of conventional gas station food, mainly subs and other sandwiches. There are also gyros and falafels available, though I haven't tried them yet.

If it's in your neighborhood or en route to wherever you're going,...

Senseless guy pick up phone at restaurant(at 7:19 pm July,25,2019). He can speak Hindi so he is indian. We called them today to make pranthas and asked how long it will take ? His non-sense answer was jab banega tab? If you do not have idea why the hell you are picking calls. And he is illiterate I guess that’s why he should go back to childhood and learn some skills first. The other lady (white) always polite and try hard to understand about indian dishes names and then answer over the phone. He should be fired from the work otherwise one day this business will be shut down soon. You are not doing charity here, keep your attitude hell out of your job better to keep in the GARBAGE Bin OUTSIDE. customers are paying you if you are not happy with your job stay at home. No mean to spread rudeness and destroy someone’s business. Be LOYAL and sincere towards your job. We know our two friends stop purchasing from here because of this rudeness. We will next time. Food here is delicious but no one wants ugly attitude...

The guy at the cash counter was rude and arrogant. Seems like he is still in India and has no clue about customer service. They don't serve all the items advertised in the restaurant. For eg. They have a big sign that says gyro, falafels, etc but when I ordered it the cash person said they don't / never served it. They claim to serve 100% halal food. I doubt it. Also all the gas filling stations were out of order. The washroom was surprisingly clean though.

They serve $3 Indian tea in a huge cup- self serve. ( large ice cappuccino size approx)Not the best tasting though as claimed by the cashier.

Chicken biryani was awful. Chicken tikka was good but pick spicy for the spice levels. Mint chutney was really good.

The food is pricey for the service.

However they had one of the best samosas I ever ate in North America.

The place is close to the highway exit and that's one of the positives.

I won't recommend this place unless you really crave for Indian food and have no other Indian food...

Authentic Typical Indian Dhaba food. This Dhaba is a hidden gem we found during our trip to New Jersey. We hiked in Rickettes glen state park and were super hungry. We searched for Indian food and found this one. We were not much confident about the place as it’s pretty close to highway. Generally good Indian restaurants are in good locations and it’s location is bit odd. It was not very crowded and it’s mainly for takeout. We ordered paneer biryani, tava rotis and gobi aaloo which took approx 30 mins. Food was undoubtedly prepared fresh as they claim. Food was little spicy but delicious just like home cooked food. Owner is from Punjab,India and Dhaba concept is mainly from the place. It’s as authentic as it can be. We Loved the food and will definitely pay it a visit again. You just have to be patient for the food as it is freshly prepared.

Worth a detour! If you know what a dhaba is, then this is an authentic dhaba. If you don’t know what a dhaba is — it’s India’s equivalent of a “greasy spoon” diner, often catering to travelers and truckers with hearty comfort foods. Located in an old gas station this dhaba is as authentic as you can get outside of the South Asian subcontinent. It is also a real gas station and you can buy some Indian snacks to go. Regularly patronized by south Asian truckers, this spot unpretentiously welcomes all. Lack of decor is made up for by the warm service, and THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT: freshly cooked and prepared by an authentic north Indian bawarchi. STOP. EAT. ENJOY! 🤌🏼👍🏼🙏🏼

I didn’t actually eat here however, they have decent parking for trucks. They have room for 20 trucks or so. Closed during the night however Onvo across the street is open 24/7. Appears to be a family owned restaurant. They’re putting in a garden behind the building which is pretty neat. Decently quiet place to rest and from the aroma that was in the wind the food is has got to be incredible. The pics are from the nature walk area just behind the trucks, beautiful sunsets visible from the parking too!! Enjoy :)
