Where to start….okay well, we were immediately greeted and seated and left…longer…than we should have. After about 10 minutes that seemed longer, I was able to make eye contact with an assistant manager. She came to the table tentatively and asked..is everything okay? We told her “No” and that we hadn’t been served. This probably would have been less of an issue if the White family that walked in 5 mins behind us hadn’t already received water and coffee and had multiple wait staff constantly attending them. After another couple minutes the Manager approached us asking if everything was alright. We repeated what we’d told the other employee. The manager went on to tell us that “There’s no problem here, just an oversight…no problem at all.” Well, that’s not exactly the best Customer Service line we’d ever heard. Perhaps “ So sorry for your wait” or perhaps, “I apologize for the inconvenience!” From that time forward we were served with trepidation. No friendly banter, no outwardly welcoming attitude, more like service for the “troublemaker” table. Read moreI was in one of your restaurants in East Windsor New Jersey (store 3721) and I have a problem that my bill was only $34.22 yet I was charged yesterday and amount of 113.22 which is a $79 dollar increase. I reached out to the manager named arlette she told me the only way I could get my refund was by check b/c it was pass the 24 hour time limit but I find that odd because if that was the case I shouldn’t have been charged $113.22 yesterday 5/22 when I originally visited the restaurant on 5/20. The waiter name was Oscar and he stole money from me! The district manager Nicholas is making excuses saying this happened before which is a problem! The manager is ignoring the fact that my card was charged an additional 79$ days after and said the waiter FORGOT to put the cash in. I find that very hard to believe because how would he know what to charge my card originally which was 34.22. I would recommend IHOP to anyone this horrible experience has turned me off of the company for the lack of accountability on management. Read moreI called an order in the evening of 8/26, I picked up my order and I believe I was the last order. I assumed all the food I ordered and Paid for was in my bag, Unfortunately after driving home I realized that not only was my order incorrect but it was also missing stuff. I called 1st thing the next morning and spoke to a young lady who was very kind, she told me someone would get back to me before the day is over so we can resolve the issue. I ended up calling IHOP around 715pm on 8/27..... I spoke to a man who told me he couldn't help me and then told me it would be pointless to write a review. He told me that people who write reviews are just liars trying to destroy other peoples businesses. I tried to explained to the rude and disrespectful man that it was unfair to me that I was to wait 2 days for food I paid for.
