Sam's Deli — Restaurant in East Windsor Township

So you know it’s Juice giving a review once again.

Now I’m from Brooklyn New York, where we make the best sandwiches. We’re on our way to DC and we said let’s stop by a deli to hold us down with a sandwich until we arrive. Sam’s deli had some good ratings but we had to see for ourselves.

Walked in, (Willie who I now “know”) showed great hospitality. Bust a couple jokes with us. I even asked if he knows how to make a chop cheese; he said come on now I got all the skills. We’ll let me tell you; homie wasn’t lying!

The chop cheese SLAPPED (meaning it was A1 since Day1). Now my rating out of 10 is a 9.9. Only because it was missing that at home NY feeling to it 🤣.

Also he let me know that New York had been robbing us when it comes to making a hero sandwich.

I would definitely recommend! They’re great (him and his coworker or wife don’t want to jump to conclusions)!

I also realized he has many regulars that come by so you know the expression: IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT!

Bottom line: YOU NEED A SANDWHICH AND YOU IN THE AREA STOP BY...

I just called Sam's to see if they carry my aunt's off-brand cigarettes. A woman answered the phone. First, I had to ask her if it was Sam's Deli because I didn't recognize her voice and she didn't answer clearly. It sounded like she only answered with one word, which must have been "Sam's" or "Hello", but it honestly didn't sound like either. When I told her what I was looking for, she said something else barely coherent, but it sounded like a question. So, I repeated myself and she said "I don't know. We have all flavor. If you wanna see, come to the store." I've never had a bad experience at Sam's before. The only reason I gave three stars today was for past experiences. If I was a new customer and this was my only experience, I would give zero if I could. I certainly wouldn't want anyone with that attitude and poor phone etiquette answering the phones at my business! I will still go to Sam's, but I'll definitely be going somewhere else tonight for my aunt's cigarettes and subs for...

This place is amazing! Even if they don’t have it in the menu ask for it and they’ll do it. It’s always clean and fast. They cook everything as soon as you order so you won’t get any reheated food or sandwiches. Grilled chicken, red pepper mozzarella, lettuce and balsamic on a hoagie is recommended 100%. In fact any sandwich has been good here since I started eating at Sam 6 years back. The staff is always happy to serve and give recommendations. Sam is always there taking feedback to make sure they are at the top of their quality. Willie makes great sandwiches specially breakfast and Ankita is the very lovely fast cashier who also gives great recommendations. 5 stars...
