I enjoyed the place in Mentor so tried the 1 closer to me. I like the option to sit inside or outside. Being a nice high 70s day we went for outside. The lights come on after dark on the patio which is super cute. The service is super quick and our waiter was very friendly. He even took a photo for us when we asked. He made sure our drinks were never empty. The chips and salsa were alright. I got the chicken taco fajita salad and he got the chicken quesadilla. Mine was good and it was interesting to come out I'm a taco shell shape instead of a bowl. The rice and beans came out on the side with my salad which was nice because normally you don't get these sides with the fajita salad. The beans usually are on the bottom and I enjoyed putting as much or as little as I wanted in it. We also got dessert with me fried ice cream and him cheesecake. They came out looking amazing and decorated. They don't skimp on the whipped cream, which is my favorite part. Only complaint is the shell to the fried ice cream tasted funny. Almost like soap! So I didn't eat it. I only ate the ice cream inside. He loved his cheesecake though and dug in before I could get a picture. $45 spent on 2 dinners, 2 desserts, and 1 soda. Not bad for a Saturday night dinner. For...

The place itself and the staff are great. The food is another story. VERY bland and almost tasteless to someone who is a big fan of Tex/Mex. The salsa is very watery and lacks any flavor. Sorry, but I like my salsa very chunky. Don T's is like tomato soup without the flavor. Just about every item is dry and tasteless.I would guess that everything is pre made and sitting in bowls in the refrigerator. Even the desserts are suspect of being premade. We shared a "Fried Ice Cream". Even that was stale and nothing like the picture on their website. The sprinkles on the top, served as an alert that the dessert was going to be dreadful. AGAIN, ALL OF MY CRITICISM comes from disappointment in the lack of Pride put into their efforts. They have a VERY LONG way to get anywhere close to the former "El Charito"in Wickliffe. Olivia, we miss you and your Tex/Mex art and love and pride, both you and your husband put...

Five stars because no its not the most five star Mexican restaurant in the world or Cleveland. But it is great. I always have an enjoyable me. The staff is always super nice and inviting. I always fell like a much more important person with how polite and attentive the staff is. The food always comes out at the speed-of light that is standard in Mexican restaurants. The surprisingly short time we have grown use too when we are starving and barely into our drinks chips and salsa. And the drinks, i have tried several styles and flavors of the margarita offerings and been satisfied. Not too much or too little tequila you can actually taste it balanced with the mixes. They also carry a nice verity of tequila and great price points. I really do enjoy coming hear for years now and it’s always a good meal...

Went here for 🌮 Tuesday but for this to be a Mexican restaurant I was disappointed in the taco deal options. 5 tacos for $5.99 beef only then we had to ask for the add ons separately. No other specials for seafood or chicken tacos and no meat alternatives for those of us that do not eat meat. Then our server was not English proficient resulting in our order to be all wrong. This expirence was not a good one which is disappointing cause I've been here several times and had great food and service.

Third visit and Don Tequila continues to impress me. Always get the fresh made Guacamole! It's delicious and they will mix it at your table so you get a show with dinner. I tried the Pollo San Jose this time. The chicken and chorizo paired together very well and they don't skimp on the veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, snow peas, onions, mushrooms, and two kinds of peppers). I tried a bite of my husband's Hawaiian Shrimp and that was very tasty as well. Definitely coming back.
