I went to a Christmas party this evening and there was about 25 people attending. We only had one waitress to take care of us. The food wasn't hot, and it took her too long to serve it (why only one waitress?) I paid $20 for the dinner, and it wasn't worth it. We had to ask for more bread and butter (which took a long time coming) and more meat. She said there wasn't any more meat, apparently whoever planned the dinner figured one piece of either lemon picatta or pork person -- not enough! There was scalloped potatoes (mediocre) and canned green beans. Also a salad served family style with Italian dressing which was not mixed in very well). There was only one pitcher of coffee on the table the whole time. The dessert (either apple or cherry strudel, which wasn't that good) was served on a single plate (help yourself) with a stack of styrofoam plates and no forks. By this time we just used our fingers. Bottom line -- Not enough help and food (mediocre) I wouldn't go there again for a dinner or...
Read moreThe young man server must have been promoted from a busser that day because he was terrible! He didn't say one nice word or welcome or thank you. He ignored us after we were finished eating. We had to tell the other server to send him to our table. When he arrived at our table while putting on plastic gloves, he said, "yeah?'. It was clearly the first word in an unspoken rest of the sentence, "Yeah", what do you want? "We would like the check please.". Then he brings it and hold it out in front of my face about eye level and says nothing. I say nothing, so he holds it out in front of my husband's face and doesn't say thank you or anything. He's a good busser but a terrible waiter. Someone should have trained him before they put him in front of the customers. The food was good. The decor was dated. We'll get...
Read moreEverything was delicious, reasonably priced, and served promptly. Good place to eat. Finding the actual restaurant is a little tricky. The address that GPS takes you to is a large building with several other things in it besides the restaurant. It looks like you have the wrong address, but you don't. Go in the entrance by the parking lot side and it is the first door on the left. There is no sign outside the building for the restaurant. We almost left but I called and they told me it was inside. We were worried it wasn't a public restaurant because there was a wedding reception going on and everyone was dressed beautifully, whereas we were wearing lake clothes. Lol! It was a good meal and worth the hassle to find our way. Hopefully this review will prevent someone else from going through...
