The food is good and all but the customer service I experience yesterday was horrendous. The lady at the cashier was real rude, had an attitude, and showed disgruntled facial expressions upon handing me my sandwich. I didn't receive no greetings upon entering and leaving the store. I waited for three minutes to be served and wasn't asked for help at all. I had to walk to the cashier to order my food prior to me not knowing that. Once I got there I still wasn't acknowledged; so I decided to just order my food for God sakes.. I had a racial/personal biased situation directed towards me !!!!!Everybody else that been served in there was greeted kindly and told have a good day with smiles and all. So yes I felt discriminated and singled out as a human being by the workers there and was livid of the situation.. The way she handled me my food HERE ! with a sour face with an unfriendly not welcome gesture proved to me my service there is invalid... I would of gave this place a five star rating because of the quality of the food and affordable pricing but I was enraged of the customer service I received so I give this a three star...
Read moreI've been a customer of Papa Joe's (specifically this Eastlake location) for over a decade now. They have awesome food, and ALWAYS at reasonable prices. This business is the LAST place that will raise their prices on you, and when they do, it's not by much.
They have a "super burger" which is a copycat of Mr. Hero's Romanburger... and, in my opinion, FAR SUPERIOR. I love it! They also have a really great chef salad, crabmeat sub, and meatball sub.
Despite the staff changing over the years, I have noticed that one thing never changes - they always have quality individuals working in there. They are always polite, and you can tell that their entire staff is working together to keep the orders rolling out the door. And after all these years, I don't think they've messed up my order even ONCE. And I've probably eaten here more than 150 times. That's impressive.
Papa Joe's will always have a lifelong customer with me. The location on E 200th St. is also good, if you're over on that...
Read morei lived my whole life in the vicinity of Papa Joe's on 200th street. i went there for food many, many times in my life, always saying they made the best sandwiches in northern Ohio. after moving far west, i only visited the 200th street location a few times a year. to have recently gone to the location to see it closed permanently was literally devastating to me. now i knew my 'few times a year' visits weren't going to keep it open for business, but they were constantly busy. my wife and i honestly shed tears as we sat in front of the sub shop we went to as kids. and then we decided to try the Vine Street location. and who do we see making sandwiches behind the counter?? the MAN HIMSELF!!! PAPA JOE not only took our order, but personally made our sandwiches!! trust me...it was nearly a heavenly intervention. and our sandwiches were absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! just like they have been for 'my whole life'. THANK YOU PAPA JOE'S for being the BEST sub shop in ALL of Northern Ohio for...
