I ordered the #47. I was terribly disappointed in the dish I received. The sauce was extremely sweet. The enchilada and burrito were covered in the same sauce. The only difference between the two was that one was a flour tortilla and the other may have been a corn tortilla. The taco was also mediocre. Thankfully, I ordered a side of beans and rice, plus a tamale, which was good. I told staff that the plate wasn't good but ended up paying for it anyhow. Lesson learned. I'll stick with I Heart Tacos down the street.

This was our first time to visit this welcoming restaurant. Enjoyed the thin, fresh tortilla chips and mild salsa while deciding what to order from the large menu.We decided on the grilled chicken covered with queso and bell peppers and the shrimp enchiladas. For dessert we enjoyed the sopapillas drizzled with honey. The only item we did not care for was the refried beans. The main courses and rice were very tasty. Friendly staff and a clean dining room made for an enjoyable dinner. Check it out!

Jennifer and I go to elrancho a lot and never had any bad experiences here Victor and Dora are great people and their staff are extremely good at their jobs the food and the service are both extremely great I highly recommended Elrancho to all of the people that are just passing through our little town or even the locals go enjoy the experienced staff and owners.

I am very understanding person and I hardly ever complain about restaurants and service but this is my first and last time coming. First of all, I waited about a hour for my food (I was patient and didn’t complain though because they were busy). I took my food to go just to see that they didn’t fulfill my order properly. This was an inconvenience because I have to use unnecessary gas and drive in the rain to go back to El Rancho when that’s time I could be using for more important things. When I get there, there’s a customer also having a frustrating time trying to explain how they got her order wrong. When they finally came to me, they didn’t seem to care or even realize how much of an inconvenience it is to take time out my busy schedule for their mistake. They didn’t offer to give me something for the inconvenience or recook my food freshly and correctly. They also don’t answer their phone. HUGE...

Came here on a Friday night with a party of 8 (4 adults and 4 children). We were seated in less than 5 minutes at a table with plenty of room. The chips and salsa were great! I ordered water with lemon, and the water tasted HORRIBLE. I nearly gagged on it and decided to order a soda without ice. My burrito and tamal were amazing 👏 I highly recommend the tamals from here smothered in their cheese. It can be a little spicy, but I enjoy spicy. The kids meals were great sizes and tasty. Our server was amazing and kept up with our needs. She made sure our cups stayed full. The only reason this establishment didn't receive 5 stars from me is because of the restrooms. The short hallway leading to the restrooms was not lit. The restroom was tiny - which isn't an issue. But it was run down and smelled horrible.

The takeaway from this: great food, great service. Don't drink the water and try to avoid...

Update: The owner reached out to me, and my husband and I tried again. It was delicious! Just as we remembered.

Thanks to Ms. Cruz!

This place has gone downhill in taste since I last I ate there. Our carryout yesterday was almost $45: shrimp quesadilla, shrimp fajitas & garlic shrimp. You could barely chew any of the shrimp from being so over cooked, and it took a lot of liquids to get it down. Also I ordered mixed vegetables instead of rice, and was told it would be broccoli and squash. I specifically told them I did not want green peppers and onions... But I got a huge dish of green peppers, onions, broccoli, and about four pieces of mushrooms. Mostly it was the onions and green peppers. Finally I asked for a large cup of quesadilla. What we got was about 4 oz... I don't know if that's what they consider large but I certainly don't for the cost.

I'm...
