I called ahead earlier in the week to see if the steak tips and chicken were marinaded in a gluten free product. I was told yes and that they had salad dressing that was gf. Well, when I got there today, I wanted to confirm what I was told. So I asked the waitress, who looked at me and I could just tell her eyes were rolling on the inside. She paused then said the entire restaurant is not gluten free its everywhere. I calmly asked her to ask the cook if what I was told was true. She comes back with a shocked look on her face and said yes the chicken and steak tips are gf. So I ordered the combo of the two and with that she says would you like tater tots, fries and the like. I said no because I knew that they would be in oil thats shared with wheat products (breading on onion rings and the like) asked if I could sub for a side salad and she said no, I thought she was kidding with me, and she looks at me and says, no I'm serious you can't. To that I said just bring me a side salad and I'll pay for it. She was completely ignorant to gluten allergies and could of cared less. Her attitude lacked concern nor wanting to help me pick a meal that was not going to make me sick. I liked the food that I had, but that waitress sucked. I'd be sure to avoid her next time. Owner should slightly educate themselves and staff to the needs for people who are celiac or gluten sensitive. I wouldn't kill you to have a small gf menu...

I GOT TO SAY FIRST OFF I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR YEARS AND THE FOOD AND THE WAITSTAFF IS USUALLY AMAZING. TONIGHT WAS DIFFERENT STORY ON THE FOOD. I GOT MY FISH DINNER AND THERE WAS RAW BATTER INSIDE. SO I TOLD MY WAITRESS WHO BY THE WAY WAS AWESOME ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND SHE TOLD THE MANGER. THE MANGER COMES OVER AND VERY POLITELY DID THE I’M SORRY THING IS ANYTHING I CAN DO I SAID I WAS ALL SET BECAUSE MY DATE ALREADY FINISHED HALF OF HER FOOD. SO IM LIKE ILL TAKE A BBQ CHICKEN CALZONE THINKING I’LL EAT IT LATER AT HOME BY MYSELF BECAUSE THE DINNER WAS RUINED BY ME EATING RAW FISH BATTER. HERE’S WHERE I GET PISSED AND FEEL DISRESPECTED AS A CUSTOMER IN THERE ONCE EVERY WEEK OR SO FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS. Honest review TLDR; staff is nice, decent food, overpriced though, and could use a kitchen deep clean from the looks of it.

Doyles is a good spot, but their prices just keep going up and up. $16+ for 6 boneless tenders and no side? $16 for a 8oz burger and 4oz of fries? $22 for a grilled chicken breast, a baked potato and 1/4 cup of veggies? It's pub food. I'm never satisfied with the portion either, it's never enough food. 3 years ago it was way different. Their prices were fair and you got more food.

Sometimes I wanna get myself a decent meal without cooking and it costs me over $20 everytime. That's **ed up.

I also used to get the prime rib sandwich.. Until they moved the slicer into view of the takeout window and you can see how poorly cleaned it is.
