I saw this spot as one of very few options for breakfast in the area so I wanted to give it a try. I was a little leery because of the location in the airport, but decided to give it a go anyway. The airport is small and there is no security before getting to the Cafe, so that made things easier. I was the only patron and there was only one person working (I assume the owner). After hearing the specials, I settled on the crab omelet. It was delicious, generously stuffed with crab, as were the potatoes on the side. It was a little pricy for a breakfast meal, but it was real crab. Since it was one person working, i had to track her down to pay after I was done (I had a meeting to catch) but it was not a problem. I would absolutely return when in the area.

Thanks to Maps, found this super cute and charming breakfast spot on the way to OC. Everything from scratch, fabulous strawberry mimosas with homemade sherbert. Enjoyed watching the planes take off, owner and staff were personable and chatty. Little gem!!! Even got sugar buns to go!

This is a small Cafe at a local airport with no scheduled airline service. This Cafe has been very good in the past, but unfortunately it wasn't this time. I had their pancake special with 2 pancakes, sausage Patty and scrambled eggs. I asked for just a few fried onions in the eggs as well. The food came out pretty quick and our waitress was very prompt and quite pleasant. The atmosphere is pretty lack luster, no special motif, missing a great chance to put some aviation posters or similar. The cafe looks out toward the short time airplane parking area as well as the taxi way and runway. I guess this could be considered their atmosphere, but there was nothing to see the entire time we were there. We were there for brunch at about 11:00 AM. Now the food. The pancakes looked good on the plate with a silver dollar sized scoop of refrigerated butter on top. It took a while to get that butter to soften so it could be spread. The only problem was they had very little taste! The majority of favor came from the spase syurp. It was almost like eating a rice cake with a pancake texture. The sausage Patty wS about 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter and only about 3/8 of an inch thick. It had ok flavor, but it was tough like it had been warming on the grill too long, like it was pre-cooked and finally had a customer order. The eggs were ok, nothing special , but plentiful. They did a good job on the amount of onions, just a few to give the eggs a little different flavor profile, and they were done nicely.

Summary. Not too bad, but not what we went there for. The prices were a bit expensive, as expected from past visits due mainly to its small size, only about 25 seats. Was there anything wrong here? No, just that I was looking for a better flavor experience as in the past. Two pancake breakfast specials and one coffee was $43.00!! We left a 20% tip, which brought the total to $50. After getting back in the car, we were wondering why the price was higher than we thought, so we looked closer to the receipt and found they charged me $5 for the few onions I requested in my eggs!!!! That was really the only bad thing and combined with so so food might make return trips to this...

I have eaten at this place for years. It is a nice setting, with good food at an inexpensive price. Knowing that the location is a small one, I have waited many, many times for a seat. To me, that is the price you pay to eat in a small place.

My Father and I went to breakfast on Father's Day a few days ago. The food was DELICIOUS, and didn't take long at all. I had coffee during the meal & a refill once my meal was finished. My Father and I are having a conversation over the last bit of my coffee when we were RUDELY interrupted. A woman (whom I am told is the owner) came to our table and said "Since you are finished eating, I need this table. I have let you sit here as long as I can." She then follows up with "I know, it's the worst thing to be kicked out but I hope you have a Happy Father's Day!"

I have never been treated so rudely. I do not mind that the table was needed - that is all a part of eating at a small restaurant. The PRESENTATION of this woman's comment is my problem. In hopes that she will read this - next time you should be polite & act like you value your customers. Without customers, you have nothing.

A place that I once recommended to people, now puts a bad taste...

Visited on Mother's Day 5/8/2016. Stood at door for 5 minutes, finally told to take back booth by kitchen. Waited another 15 minutes with no drinks, no menus, and no server in sight. The owner fawned over the booth that was before us, coming over 3 complete different times, bringing coffee, buns, and to talk. Do you think she'd help the one server they had on Mother's Day? Obviously not, because we left after her last trip to the booth before us and then she just walked to the front of the restaurant. She looked at us 3 different times, and then proceeded to ignore us. I don't like this kind of treatment and will never go back. Have had problems on different occasions, with waiting and the food being cold. We've had enough. If you are willing and able to have a food service business, then you should be willing and able to help out in the restaurant when you were too stupid to schedule your...
