ECB is still one of the best investments I have ever made. As a teacher and fitness freak, eating well is very important, but also difficult to do on a tight schedule. Ordering healthy and tasty lunches and dinners for the week has been a lifesaver for me. The new specials every other week are amazing, and new meals are always being dropped to keep the menu fresh. Where do I even begin?? Eat Clean Bro has been a total game-changer for me. I am a fitness enthusiast with a habit of exercising before work and also after work. As a teacher, there are often nights where I am not getting home until after 6:00, making it nearly impossible to get a good workout in and cook myself a healthy meal. I do enjoy cooking, but I realized that I would not be able to do it all. After thoroughly researching food prep and delivery companies in and around New Jersey, I came across Eat Clean Bro. I had actually seen a few of their trucks on the road that day. Every review I read about ECB was stellar, and the realist in me thought that might have been too good to be true. So I emailed them with a few questions, and a member of their customer service team (Amanda) responded to my questions within minutes. I promptly placed my order for that week. The meals arrived cold as advertised, and the driver texted me when he left the facility as well as when I was the next stop. This was back in November of 2016, and I have been hooked on ECB ever since.

I ordered 9-10 meals every week for the remainder of last school year, and have ordered each week of this current school year. The meals are top-quality - seriously, I have yet to try a meal that makes me second-guess ordering it. My favorites are the new Kiddie Meal (who doesn't love chicken tenders and baked fries??), the Post Workout (seasoned ground beef with a choice of green vegetable and rice), and the baked chicken wings are just out-of-this-world. I have had many a plate of wings at bars and pubs, but these are just on a different level, and they're baked - not fried! My absolute favorite thing to order, though, is the salmon. They give you a great piece of fish for the price, and it is always seasoned perfectly. You go to any fancy restaurant and you'll pay over 20 bucks for the portion of salmon you get from ECB for 11 or 12 dollars, depending on the dish. There are salmon staples on the menu, and usually a salmon special, too.

Eat Clean Bro not only makes great food, but employs awesome people. I do need to give a special shout-out to a couple of their delivery drivers - Dan and Jay. Over the past year, I have suffered two big injuries while training for American Ninja Warrior (I was actually selected to compete last May, but a leg injury a week before competition prevented that from happening. Dan was my driver the week after I got hurt, and seeing me hobble to the door on crutches, he offered to bring my bag of meals inside and put them on the counter for me. The summer went by and Dan delivered my first round of meals for this school year, and he remembered my injury and asked how my leg was doing. Fast forward to this past November, when I dislocated my shoulder and was in a sling for a few weeks - Jay was my driver for several weeks in a row, and he also brought my meals in for me without hesitation, and asked how I was feeling each time. Update: I very rarely leave Google reviews, however I was so mad last week at this company and how they handled my original issue that I wrote the review below. Shortly after this they emailed me asking to speak, so I left my phone number and they called me back and took so much time with me. This woman named Jen took the time and listened to me, was extremely apologetic and even empathetic towards my situation. She didn’t make me feel rushed and has done everything possible to correct this situation. I originally said “how this company has five stars is beyond me”; well I fully retract that statement as she most definitely plays a part into why they hold their rating. Companies and people make mistakes, it’s the communication and how someone handles it that makes or breaks the company, and she for sure makes the company. She didn’t have to follow up, she didn’t have to even try and rectify, but she did and because of her I am going to be giving them another chance. Thank you Jen for truly listening and thank you for caring.

Horrible custom service, they changed my delivery date without my consent and then when I called them to tell them times I was available for the new date they wouldn’t accommodate the times. I had scheduled a Sunday delivery, since that’s when I would be home to receive it. I received a text late at night stating the driver is running behind and it wouldn’t be here until 11pm and they asked if that was ok or if I preferred a Monday drop off, when I replied what time on Monday they stopped responding. So I waited up until 11:30pm in case it was still coming and nope, nothing. I thought well that’s kind of messed up, considering I have no clue when it will be here and I wasted my time waiting. I began calling Monday to find out a time so my food wouldn’t sit on my front porch all day since I wasn’t home; call after call no one was answering. Over an hour later I finally got in touch with someone who I explained the situation and asked if I could please select a delivery time, she said no it was rescheduled between 5-10pm. I told the woman I had after school activities and was only available from 1-5pm, she said well that’s not doable. I again said “ma’am I won’t be home until almost 9pm and I do not want a repeat of yesterday, I have to be up at 4am, I can’t sit around waiting up again.” She then said “oh ok sorry about that.” And that was it! I’m sorry but if you mess up on a delivery time and date that I chose 4 days prior I should have the right to chose my delivery time. First worst impression, will never try them again, I will stick with Performan Meal Prep, they have great customer service, never late on a delivery, and they offer tons of discounts. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time here. I have used many meal prep services and never encountered anything like this before. Eat, Clean,Bro has got to be THE-BEST delivery service of clean foods ever. If I could give this company over 5 stars I would!!! I have tried many other delivery prep-your-own-food type services but was highly dissatisfied. I came across this website from my Employers preferred list of places to order, to receive a discount (Northwell Health). For health reasons, I knew I had to do something about the added weight I had packed on for the last 2 years which contributes to high blood pressure, diabetes and worsening symptoms of GERD/IBS. These meals helped me to lose 12lbs already!!! I feel so accomplished already. I placed my first order and I was left in 'Awe' and I knew this would be the ONLY place I would ever order from. It was just the simple things that made me gain confidence in this wonderful company. The driver texted me to tell me when he was leaving and he even went ahead and texted me a photo of the delivered food. Where can you ever find such a trustworthy company as such? This makes me feel like a valued consumer, deeply and truly. As any new customer, I had many questions before my first purchase. There was a live rep to assist with ordering which is so hard to find online. As far as the meals go, I decided that since I spend between $8 and $12 for lunch everyday anyway, why not make it a clean and healthy one. Everything I have tried has been very delicious without the guilt of eating unhealthy. They also allow you to sub out items for a small charge of 50cents. The meals are delivered fresh and are made the day of. I appreciate the freshness on day 1 as I do on day 5. My favorite has got to be the turkey burger. It was just so flavorful without being greasy or heavy. My second purchase got even better. I tried a few more things which did not dissapoint. Just as the routine before, you order and the driver texts' you as they are about to leave. It was approaching the time for delivery and I hadnt reaceived a text just yet so I called to verify the driver was still coming. The person answering the phone was so pleasant and made me aware that the drivers were getting ready to head out (a little after 12pm). The guy said "hope you enjoy the food and have a wonderful day." Those types of statements are hard to come by and again that just reiterated that they appreciate their customers. To wrap this review up, I have told about 6 people in my office/suite about this company and I will continue letting people know what a great devoted company you guys are! This one is at the top of my list of 2018, to get and eat more clean and healthy. Thank you guys for giving me the opportunity to help you guys prosper as well. Keep up the great work!
