Culver’s — Restaurant in Eau Claire

Absolute worst culvers. This is probably the 4th time this has happened, and I'm finally frustrated enough to write this review. I have had many bad experiences with this specific culvers, constantly messing up my order or I'm spending an absurd amount of time in the drive thru for "fast" food. I just waited 20 minutes for 2 kids meals in the drive thru (10:50am isn't at lunch rush). I called them because I thought my order was lost in the system as every car who arrived after me who ordered adult meals and concreate mixers were getting there's. The lady who answered the phone was rude and said that my order was coming out now. When my order finally came to my car, my order was wrong and I had to send it back. I didn't get great customer service, nor any compensation (the messed up ice cream would have been ok to get as I waited for my 4 chicken tenders, 2 small fries, and a single scoop of custard). Would give more than 5 stars if I could. I was working on a job site today and my wife offered to bring me lunch. She loaded the kids up and stopped at Culver's to get us all food. After going through the drive thru and placing her order she discovered at the window she had left her purse at home. She explained to the person at the window she was very sorry and that we lived close by and she could go home, get her purse and come back if they would just hold her order. The lady could tell she was sincere and rather than making her make the extra trip they gave her the food she ordered, even gave our dog a pup cup, said have a nice day and sent her on her way with no bill!! We stop at this Culver's to either dine in or get take out on average 2-3 times a week and the service and food is always great but this just goes above and beyond! I’ve lived in Wisconsin for many years now and Culver’s is my go-to fast food if I’m eating fast food. It’s always hot and fresh (just off the grill!) and the service is fantastic. However, the awesome service at the Culver’s last night prompted this review. After our Forensics meet I brought a group of 10 kids over. Going to Culver’s after our meets has been our tradition for the 15 plus years I’ve been coaching. When we arrived, an employee held the door open for everyone in our party. This same employee made sure that both the bus driver and myself (the coach) got our free meals. Although this is a perk that Culver’s offers, I didn’t know until tonight that it was offered to teachers/coaches as well as bus drivers.
