Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Eclectic

The food itself is great! However... when we went to order in our normal voice and pacing, we got told we were ordering too fast. Okay, no problem, even though it wasn't too fast we went ahead and repeated the order. Well, whoever picked up the headset from the original cashier had a horrible attitude even though we were polite and trying to go slower and repeat the order.

We get to the window and we were told to pull up. After seeing three cars get their order and leave, we still waited and stayed patient and polite. They bring out order to the car and we said thank you, she just hands it to him and walks off without a word.

We double checked our food considering the poor attitude of the employee and all the confusion... despite waiting, repeating our order, they got it wrong and forgot the salad. We walked back in to get it and they basically said it was our fault for ordering too fast. I get people make mistakes but the attitude is uncalled for. We never did anything to be wronged and to treat us like trash is just crazy. We didn't even get a receipt.

So tl;dr; horrible employee attitude, poor customer service, long wait despite it not being busy, but good food. I really wish Eclectic had more options. Whoever is managing Jacks, you are rated at 2 stars on Google for a reason. Might want to re-evaluate who you are hiring, especially in management positions who allows...

I stopped here today and used some points to get a small milkshake. It was delicious and the service was great. I do stop here every time I go to Wetumpka to the casino, going to or coming from wetumpka to Alex City. Not all times have been a 5 rating but they do a great job and I’m glad they’re there. Thank you all for the great service and hospitality you give. 😊😊😊 Today’s date is 07/27/25 an update. For some reason when I stopped here over the last several months they never have any fried chicken available. It’s almost seems they are cooking it as customers order it. It takes 20 minutes to cook. I don’t like it straight out of the fryer, to hot and greasy. It’s best when it has 10 or more minutes to sit and drain and cool down a little bit. I won’t waste time again stopping here. I understand business decisions have to be made to cut waste, but having a good crew chief does wonders. I drove to another location that I should have...

Honestly I never write these kinds of reviews but tonight I went to jacks and the employee taking my order was horrible. I was trying to be very gracious because it was about 40 minutes till closing but when I pulled up and ordered each time I asked for something I got back a “sure” which is fine whatever I will live. Then I get to the window and paid and as I’m sitting there the lady is yelling “ I swear to god I ain’t making no more milkshakes”….. after I had just ordered one. Then AFTER I paid she then says “we are out of tenders” I kinda just sat there because they were also out of bone in which granted it was 9:30 at this point then she proceeded to ask if I wanted to wait which of course I said yes bc I HAD ALREADY PAID. After I said yes she then rolled her eyes and walked away. By far the worst attitude I’ve seen there. Mam if you don’t won’t to work with people get a desk job. One plus side is I did get all the sauces...
