Riverside Coney Island — Restaurant in Ecorse

This was the first place I ever ordered food from after moving to the area and became place for ordering breakfast from. Yesterday, I had occasion to be in the vicinity of the physical restaurant with my son and so we went for an in-person, sit-down lunch. All I can say is WOW! Every single thing we ordered was DELICIOUS! My son ordered the Double cheeseburger with fries and coleslaw and I ordered the pita gyro sandwich with fries and coleslaw…Perfection and so fresh!! We also split an order of mozzarella sticks and an order of corned beef egg rolls with 1000 Island sauce for dipping. All of it was Heaven on Earth. For dessert, he got strawberry cheesecake and I got the most delicious banana pudding! Naturally, we had to bring some home, but ohhhhhh my goodness, we ate all day. Also 5 star was our awesome waitress, Kay! Super friendly and helpful and, in spite of being slammed with more than normal numbers of customers and orders due to the effects of the previous night’s storms and people without power, we didn’t wait long and she never lost her smile or kindness. And lastly, it’s a nice, clean place right down to the bathroom. 10/10 definitely...

Well good food and I feel in love with this place because my husband knows the chef there haded seen him in a long time sents they Were kids and my husband moved back to Detroit from Portland Oregon I've never been in Detroit before so very comforting food here makes me very happy .Great sever here and very nice people thank you for great food and a lot of it when my family come from Portland to come see me I'm bringing them here for food and injoyment I don't know what else to say but I'm very happy here with my husband and his family go here all the time it's a hang out for family and friends of my husband . Thanks again for great food and new memories all the time I come here from a new customer not anymore but that's okay Amy Wilson and husband Tony Wilson love this place your very welcome for the 5 stars but I would give you more than that ...

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 25 years. I have never had any issues until today. We ordered French toast and omelette and biscuits and gravy and a side of bacon. There was no powdered sugar, no cinnamon,no syrup, no butter on the toast no jelly, no plastic ware no napkins no nothing!!!!! I call and tell them and I was told that you have to ask for EVERYTHING I said including syrup? They don't even let the customer know that their French toast comes plain when ordering it.When ordering this online it never even gives an option to add it delete from French toast. The lady on the phone didn't even offer for me to come back up there to get all of that for my order she just had an excuse for everything. I am very unhappy and I will not be back here! I also asked to speak to the manager and she said he's not there right now. I asked when he will be in and she says later but he's gonna tell you the same thing. I rather go across the street and spend more money than...
