Church Street Station — Restaurant in Eden

Wow visiting the area we found a spot on the internet. I wish I would have kept going. The fries we're extremely overcooked. The burger was good though however you got more bread than Burger. Service can use an upgrade as well. The young lady at the counter never cracked a smile. To be honest I felt unwelcomed. We ordered cheeseburger combos and you would assume that they would come with drinks. They didn't and the waitress didn't ask if we wanted anything but thankfully we had water in the car. The floors were dirty and dingy as well and could use a thorough cleaning and lots of Wax. If you are desperate go ahead and stop here. I recommend going to McDonalds instead. I really have a hard time knowing how to review Church Street Station. On our dinner visit the food was excellent - we had flounder, creamed corn, green beans, fried okra, and hush puppies. The food was delivered piping hot only a few minutes after we ordered, and the prices were very reasonable (low even by small town standards). So what's the issue? The place was filthy - there was trash lying on the very dirty floor, dead flies, dirt on the windows, and the bathrooms were worse than a run-down gas station. So this morning I was about to starve but realized nothing is open..etc then I remembered Edens best kept secret church street station!!! I quickly pulled up the online menu and was literally excited as I searched the amazing breakfast menu. Finally, my mother and I settled on our meals, and then I was off to pick up 2 amazing meals! The dishes were wonderful and I can't express how delicious this little restaurant is & I'd guarantee you'd absolutely love it as much as we do.
