Decided to try dining in. Big mistake. It started off ok as we got a table in the back room (party room). The greeter was really nice and we thought it would be great for social distancing. We sat and ordered and then they sat a party of about 15 at two tables in the party room. There was an empty table to separate us, but it started to feel a little crowded. We ordered sandwiches, wings, lasagna and an individual pizza. It took 30 minutes to get our food. The server that took our order never came back. During that time the party of 15 grew to 20 or more and they decided to use the empty table as their gift opening table. Social distancing was thrown out the window. The server was nowhere to be found. We couldn't get drink refills. We didn't finish our food. I told the manager about the problem and he gave a generous discount on the bill, but I would say this La Rosa's location is clearly not ready for dine in service. Read moreI was really surprised with this little restaurant. I used to eat a lot at Larosa's where I lived, before my husband passed. He really liked it and our grandsons loved it. But I wasn't really impressed with it. Just a place to go. But this little Larosa's in Edgewood felt really nice. It was cozy, no blasting music, very clean and pretty and great for relaxing and having a Very Good Meal, and unwinding after having an extremely hard day. We had a GREAT server and the rest of the staff was very courteous. This will definitely be another favorite restaurant for me in this area. Looking forward to going back. By the way, it's nice to have a little place to eat that two people can have an enjoyable meal and drinks for under twenty...
