I had high expectations for this place since it opened up near my home. But it fell a bit short in my opinion I didn't interact directly with the Gentleman but I noticed how warmly he engaged with other customers, which added a nice touch to the atmosphere. The Lady, who handled my ordering and payment, came across as a bit cold and less welcoming, which made the experience feel uneven. I got to speak with the gentleman that runs the shop, he looks to be the chef. He was very warm and welcoming, and since it was first thing in the morning, I got to know the Munchy’s history. They do make their bread in house from scratch for their sandwiches and all of their cookies and other sweets are made from scratch.
