I will never go back to this location. I’ll drive 20 minutes to Nevada before I give this Subway my money again.
On 8/19 I submitted a mobile order and it said pick up would be at 6:15pm. I got there at 6:16pm and didn’t see the order ready so I took a seat. 15 minutes passed with no one even acknowledging me so I got up and asked the worker if she could cancel my order. She didn’t know how so she took my number down for the manager the next day.
On 8/20 I went to see if the manager was there to get an update since I hadn’t been refunded yet. She told me verbatim, “They called me last night and told me that you waited 5 minutes and wanted a refund.” I said no, I waited for 15 minutes and my food still wasn’t ready. She said, “There’s a 15 minute window from when you order it and then when you got here it was another 5 minutes.” Where did she get that I waited for only 5 minutes? The whole reason why I was annoyed is because 15 minutes after pick up my food hadn’t even been started! I corrected her again and said, “No. My food was supposed to be ready at 6:15. I got here at 6:16. 6:30 came and my food still wasn’t made so I asked for a refund.”
The workers obviously downplayed the time I spent sitting there because it definitely wasn’t 5 minutes. The managers response was it for me. I honestly wasn’t even going to write a review at first but from her response I had time today. I could see if this was the first time that happened, but this was literally the third time I waited past my pick up time. The first time it happened a customer inside actually told me she never does mobile pick up because the food is never ready. Still, I tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt.

Read moreI've always been happy with Subway here in El Dorado Springs, but today I ordered online, and food was supposed to be ready by 12:15pm, arrived at 12:19 pm. Food wasn't in the pick -up area. Since there were a few ppl in line, I waited off to the side close to the cashier area. After two customers were helped and paid for their orders I asked the girl behind the counter if she knew when the my online order would be ready and that it was due at 12:15; it was now 12:30pm. She said she didn't know and that she hadn't started it yet. It's understandable since this poor girl was working all my herself, said she'd only been there a couple wks. I was going to cancel and go somewhere else since she was already overwhelmed and said she hadn't started the order and as we spoke more ppl were piling in the door, but she stated that she didn't know how to cancel an order. I know what it's like to work in the food industry, and sometimes u just have off days, but it's definitely bad management to put an unexperienced employee all by themselves on a Sunday afternoon, a known busy dining day, and expect it to go well. Thanks for the no chips that I paid for an a hole in my drinking cup. My sprite leaked EVERYWHERE. Yes ma’am. There was a hole in my cup. Which I find those all odd things after my simple request for valid reasons.
This is the last time I will come to this part of the food chain for Subway. I get it; things happen. I worked for Subway 3 times lol & understand how it can be. But when the excuses overload the continued problems, enough is enough. I’m not an idiot and I know how it should be done. Hence my work experience there. I’ve had a whole sandwich messed up. Missing order items. Etc. I am fed up with it. And there is 0 point in asking for it to be fixed by anyone. Next time; realize my note on my order was for this reason exactly!
