Did the 'drive thru' for two full racks of ribs. I don't think I waited more than 3 minutes before being handed two large sacks that contained the most delicious ribs I have ever eaten! I had requested the two orders to be separated as I had some home-bound neighbors who were having some financial problems. I dropped off one sack to them and an hour later was rewarded with a text thanking me for the gesture and stating they found the ribs to be 'the best they had ever had' confirming my own perception of the feast. $53 for both orders with all the fixins was a very reasonable price for the amount of food I received and the appreciation by my neighbors was priceless. I was surprised to see the overwhelming amount of 5-star reviews for the food at this location after trying it tonight. The brisket and bread were okay at best 1/5 But the sides of ours were incredibly disappointing, The macaroni was very dry, and rubbery and appeared as if it had set out for hours which grossed both of us out, and both sides of scalloped potatoes tasted like boxed. I think the most disappointing part was we still paid over $25 for two plates of food we will never be ordering again. Service left a lot to be desired. Took more than a while to get order taken. Server’s hair was down. Took even longer to get the bill, so long I got up to request it. I can get over bad service if the food was worth it. The food was so bad, I feel the need to warn others. Everything, not exaggerating here, everything was cold. My wife ordered a potato, even it was cold. Besides the temperature of the food, there was a complete lack of flavor. Then on top of all that, the portion of brisket served was tiny.
