Dined here the other evening on Monday, one of their $1.50 margarita days! (Which are Mondays, Wednesdays, & then Thursdays they're $2.50) We had come in on a Friday previously, and I bought a margarita full price and it was good! Food was good, so we decided to come back on a Monday for the marg special 🍹 The bf and I had 3 each, shared a shredded beef chimmichanga which was delish, rice & beans were amazing. Chips (served warm) and salsa, also delicious! But I was bummed the margaritas we had this visit weren't what we had on our previous visit. We each had 3, and left feeling how I did when I walked in 😆😅 Tasted more like 95% margarita mix. And I get it - if you're gonna have $1.50 margarita day, I can maybe understand 'watering' it down a bit, but it was.. alot. Just wished they were the same as the regular days. Food was good, our waitress was was wonderful, very sweet and attentive. But those margaritas, lacking for sure :(

Came highly recommended by some neighbors. Had to try it. Ordered shrimp enchiladas to check out the red chili sauce and a machaca burro - difficult to get right. The machaca burro was flavorful and the tortilla was appropriately chewy and tasty. Surprisingly, the shrimp enchiladas sauce was light colored, very mild, thick and not very flavorful. The red chili sauce is the standard I use to judge a restaurant. I am confused because the machaca burro was excellent and the enchiladas were disappointing. Maybe chef had an off day. Will try it again sometime and try their menudo and tamales. Waiter was attentive and helpful.

Wife and I went on a Friday night at 6. The small strip mall place was busy. We were seated right away but had to wait 10 minutes for server to take our drink order. Our server took or order and about 10 minutes we had our food. A nice clean place. My wife combo plate had a huge tostada and a very cheesy enchilada with rice and beans. My carne asada plate was pretty good, the only problem was the meat was thick chunks. If the meat had been shaved thinner I'm sure it wouldn't have been as tough. The hot thin chips and good tasting salsa was very good. We will probably give it another try

Wow! Excellent food!! All our orders for our table were prepared deliciously and had good portions!

This is probably my first review on a restaurant, so it had to be awesome! Please take the time to read it's worth it!

I ordered one of the three Monday - Friday specials: 2 Cheese Enchiladas w/ rice & beans ($9.99) plus a Beef Shredded Taco on the side.

My cousin ordered the same, and my father had the Chili Verde Dinner.

The Cheese Enchiladas were served hot with perfectly prepared red sauce. The tortillas inside the Enchiladas were prepared perfectly, and lots of yummy melted cheese. All balanced nicely in flavor!

The beans were served creamy & and delicious. The Rice was done nicely. Seasoned well and moist!

My Taco. This is my favorite taco now!! It's been a long time since I had a taco this good! I'd even say it was perfect! The shell was fried perfectly, not burnt or too hard, and not greasy! The shredded beef was moist and nicely seasoned. The lettuce was crispy & fresh. The tomatoes were fresh, and the cheese was portioned nicely.

My fathers meal: Chili Verde Dinner The first comment my father made upon receiving his dish was, "Look, they actually gave me Chili Verde. Usually, it's 1/3 the plate (of Chili Verde), and the rest is the rice and beans. " For my father to actually be happy about his meal is amazing, as he is extremely picky.

Martha, our server was friendly and sweet. She always had a smile for us. When I was ordering, I got a tad confused on the combo plates. She helped me get the food items I wanted and made sure I took advantage of the special.

The Chef was Aracely, and before we left, I made sure she knew how delicious her food was.

I just had to tell her, "Honestly, I haven't eaten such a delicious meal in a very long time! It was so good! Thank you!".

I grew up with Mexican food so for me to have such a perfecto plate, it had to be perfecto!!

I hope to return soon...

Stay Far Away from Lupita’s Restaurant!

If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. After hearing so many recommendations, we were eager to try Lupita’s, but it was nothing short of a nightmare. The food was disgusting, overpriced, and downright revolting. We ordered four 32oz bowls of red menudo at $16 each, expecting a rich, flavorful dish—what we got was an abomination. The menudo smelled foul, like it had been sitting out for days, (worse then diarrhea) and looked like something straight out of a horror movie. Strange, unidentifiable chunks were floating in it, and it tasted like it had gone bad. NO flavor at all!!! I’ve had better food at a gas station.

We immediately called the restaurant to express our disgust, and while we were still calm and polite, all they did was promise a callback that never came. When I followed up, they told me they wouldn’t refund us and suggested I add garlic salt to "improve" the flavor. Garlic salt?! Are you kidding me? That was their brilliant solution. Then, they promptly hung up on me.

This place is a complete joke. The food is inedible, the prices are absurd, and the customer service is nonexistent. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. If you want real menudo that actually tastes good and isn’t a total ripoff, go to Humeretos its cheaper and infinitely better....

Avoid Lupita’s Restaurant at all costs!

We were so excited to try Lupita’s after hearing multiple recommendations, but what a huge mistake that turned out to be. The food was not only overpriced but absolutely disgusting. We ordered four 32oz bowls of red menudo at $16 each, expecting something flavorful and hearty—what we got was a $70 disaster. The menudo smelled rotten and looked worse than anything we’ve ever seen. There were strange, nasty-looking flakes floating in it, and it tasted like something had gone terribly wrong. We called the restaurant to express our disappointment, and while we were super disappointed we were still very polite, they promised to give us a call back. They never did. When I followed up, they told me they couldn't offer a refund and suggested adding garlic salt to fix the "problem." Really? Garlic salt? That’s the solution? Then hung up the phone. This place is a complete ripoff, and we will NEVER be coming back. The food was awful, the customer service was nonexistent, and the price was outrageous. Don’t waste your money here! HUMERETOS MENUDO IS CHEAPER...
