Alejandro's Tortilla Factory — Restaurant in El Paso

Don’t buy Cakes from Alejandro’s. We bought a Tres Leches cake for my Mothers birthday. The cake had a chemical taste to it, at the first bite. We had about 16 people over to celebrate. Everyone all said the same thing about the funny taste. We had to go to another store to buy another cake. So I called early the next day to let them know that I was not happy with the cake. The manager said that just bring the cake back to the store and she would give me a cash refund. So I show up and the manager calls the baker and they taste the cake. They said the cake taste fine and she can only give me store credit. “Why do I want store credit”, I tell her. I’m not the most calm person when I get riled up, so my blood begins to boil. I told her why can’t she just give me a refund like she told me over the phone. She couldn’t give me a good reason. I ended taking some sodas, because I’m not going to take anything they make there to just have another bad experience. She only gave me about half of what the cake was worth in sodas.. I’m not sure if they store the cakes in a place that has chemicals or if they use chemicals to preserve their cakes but it was definitely the worst cake I’ve ever tasted. The reason I’m writing this review is not because of the cake, but because I hate when people don’t honor their word. If she would have only giving me my money back like she said when I called, I would have left it alone. Bottom line, they should sell their cakes with a, “Buy at your own RISK”, sticker...

I went to this place for the first time yesterday morning. Since this is a 'Factory Tortilla Place" I was looking for some tortillas. They did not have either corn or flour tortillas. I proceed to grab some bakery stuff, after waiting in the line for 10 minutes my wife and I decided to leave this unorganized place!

You have to wait in the same line where people order stuff from the kitchen, even tho I only wanted to pay for bread and desert. You have people there that does not know how to organize themselves so people can pay for what they want and go! Why do I need to be on the same line where people wants to order from the kitchen in order to pay for what I already have? does not make any sense. So disappointed of this experience that I will never go back.

Just get a manager there that knows how to run a business!! it is not that hard to be organized and be a common sense place.

Oh!! I almost forget... this lady at the counter taking food from the kitchen window to the counter area was coughing so bad and covering her mouth with her own hands and not cleaning it and then grabbing the food!! nasty!!!! also she was messing up with the lady inside the kitchen, asking for the same stuff multiple times and laughing about it... really? this is a customer service job, they should take their job more seriously!

It it obvious that the owner of this place does not care about anything because after reading all the bad reviews, if someone really care about it you do...

Seems like the owner of this place doesn’t care about the business, customers or it’s employees. Expect to be in the drive thru for at least one hour, as I was this morning. Mind you I was the SECOND car when I arrived. I ordered two burritos on 9/12 at 9:30 AM, a lady wearing a white dress which seemed to be the manager asked me to move up and she would personally take my order out. She absolutely forgot about me. I had to get off to go get my order inside the store which I was trying to avoid which is why I went to the drive thru. The lady in the white dress seemed unbothered, turned to tell the cooks to make my order and continued chatting away with someone who had nothing to do with running orders, while the cashier and cooks looked embarrassed and hurriedly took care of my order. I’ve been here three times and each time they take forever to handle the MINIMAL amount of customers that they have and are usually out of dishes that are on the menu. This is not the workers fault it’s poor management and lack of leadership starting with the owner of this establishment. As a new resident of the area there are way better options out there and will stay away from this place...
