Delicious Mexican Eatery — Restaurant in El Paso

One word. Their food is tasteless. For the price you would expect something better just see the flauta plate. 😒 They took over 30 minutes the food was not fresh. Dirty tables and the place were not packed. Flies everywhere. Prices are high and their servings are not fulfilling or tasty on the contrary. Everyone who is serving plates handles the food with their bare hands chile rellenos, tacos, flautas just in front of their customer. For real I was just waiting for them to scoop with their bare hands the beans, rice, and chile colorado onto the plates. Isn't this a restaurant Don't they have utensils to grab the food? The cashier, the server are just with their dirty bare hands not washing them just handling everything like nothing disgusting 🫣. Food is exposed to everything flies, hairs, and dust as cashiers are not wearing hair nets, but are also handling food that is not covered. Their food handling practices are non-existent next to nothing. Never again will I go into this place. Not sure how they were given best food awards. Not the best in anything. They lack everything. I just hope once people go it will be their first and last time at...

Great food with a short term memory. The young guy at the front desk told me to hold and never answered again. I put the call on speaker because I was curious to see how long he would take to respond. Occasionally I shouted "Hello" or pressed a button on the dial pad, yet still no response. It was long enough for me to change clothes, put on my shoes, drive down there, walk up to the door to see the "Masks Required" sign, walk back to my car to get a mask, then walk back to the restaurant. Lo and behold, the same guy who had me on hold for a little over 18 minutes was at the register. Next to the phone. I showed him that I was still on hold to which he had a confused look before looking at the restaurant's phone and remembering. He then said that I could have just hung up and called again. Food is always delicious. Service has gone down, especially after today’s incident. I called to make a pickup order, it was verified, and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. When I got to the restaurant, the young lady helping me had no order for me and asked me several times if I called the correct location. She showed me the receipts for two pending orders that were obviously not mine. Again, she asked me if I called the correct location. I asked her what the phone number was there at Fort Boulevard and she didn’t even know that. I showed her my phone so she could see that I did call the correct location. There was no apology, no attempt to make the order, offer a solution, nothing. I was treated like it was my fault and I made the error. My family and I have been eating there for years, but after today’s incident, I will never walk in there again . This is not the first time for this lousy service & crummy...
