Peking Garden — Restaurant in El Paso

The food is okay but very bad service. I came in and an employee saw me but did not acknowledge me. A couple comes in all the employees jump to give service to the couple. I was there first before the couple but i wasn't served or acknowledged first. It took 10 minutes to serve me a drink, 20 minutes for soup and chips, and 35 minutes for my meal. The couple already had their meals before I even finally got a soup. I told the waitress I pay for my soup and cancel my order. She said it's taking so long because she said the vegetables didn't look the way she likes it so she sent it back. She could have told me because im there wondering why everybody that came after me had food but not me. I always leave really good tips but im treated like if I don't tip but I do. Also I had to beg for refill on my drink. They just not attentive at all. It's like once your plate comes out you are on your own. When I asked for the bill they said for me to pay at the cashier. It used to be they would take your card at the table and take care of it for but not no more. Im just just disappointed with the overall experience because usually its ok but this...

Had to wait an hour for our food to get to us. When we did call about it they said it should have already been dropped off. Then received a phone call from the delivery guy saying he couldn't find our place. We are new to the area so don't know names of streets very well so we couldn't help much. When we finally did get our food he had me meet him outside at his vehicle because he didn't know what apartment we were in.

Then later the next day everyone that ate from here got sick. Had some left over rice thr next day and my husband ended up sick again. It was the only thing we all ate that was the same so I know it came from the food.

The rice was alright but their almond chicken I ordered was no where near almond chicken. Husband said his was alright but we ended up having to microwave everything when we got it. Will not be ordering from this...

1 Star – Disappointed and Regretful

I was really craving Chinese food and decided to give Peking Garden a chance, especially since there were a few good reviews mixed in with the bad ones. I also saw their 4.3 rating on DoorDash and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. The food arrived late, and to make matters worse, one of the foam containers had a mysterious black stain on it — not sure what it was, but definitely not something you want to see near your food. As for the taste, it was extremely disappointing. The General Tso’s chicken tasted like it came from a frozen box — overcooked, bland, and far from fresh. Nothing had flavor or quality. We ended up throwing most of it away. Total waste of money and a ruined dinner. Now I understand why their actual rating is only 3.8. Never ordering...
