El Chucoviche Mariscos — Restaurant in El Paso

I brought my family here for my grandparent's birthday after having a good experience once before. Sadly, my family was very disappointed. We arrived on a Friday around 4-5 pm for the seafood buffet. I think it was too pricey for the quality of the food/ atmosphere. Everytime we got up to get food there was either no plates, no utensils (they use plastic utensils), or not enough options because the food needed to be restocked. -The cold buffet table should offer sliced lime and avocado for the shrimp cocktail. -Our server was not very attentive. And the wait for plates to be restocked at the buffet was a little excessive -Way too small of a space for the buffet. I could not get food without bumping into someone left and right. -It was very cold outside and they had the back door open the whole time, right next to where we were sitting. Our food got cold before we could even eat it, and we were uncomfortably cold the entire time. It was a terrible experience

I think this place normally has great food but they are not ready to offer a buffet. I would recommend ordering from their menu, the buffet is...

Went in because I wanted to try the new brick and mortar restraunt building (was a little rainy) and because of all the crazy social media pics of the food.

The place is small and clean. Ray was our server and was really cool. Gave us lots of recommendations and let us know the specials they have on other days too. He was quick and easy to talk to. Made us feel welcome. La comida came out Hot and Fresh...Thanks again man!

I got one of the Platillo Calientes- Camarones Fiesta (Bacon wrapped Shrimp) and my buddy got the Tacos Baja- Camarone Empanizado (lightly battered shrimp tacos).

All the Salsas we tried (5) were on point. I wanted to drink the Pico de Gallo (had cucumber), and the RED one smacks! 🔥

So-GOOD! Must try. I hear the Food Truck will be travleing to the Westside and often! We'll see. 🚛🦐👀

Will be back to start the, Around the World game on the menu, where i start trying everything.... they take To-GO orders and are open kinda late! Until 9pm EVERYDAY.

The food has always been great as well as the aguas frescas, we have been going since they had their food truck but it’s been two times that we have a horrible experience with the servers. We get there and they tell us the wait time for outside is none so we wait until they come and clean a table to sit outside. After that we wait about 20 minutes to get a menu and few minutes later our drinks. Before that we saw our server coming towards us nodding her head to another server like if she didn’t want to serve us. After she takes our order another server comes to bring everything out. Food came out some what fast but, we asked for tostadas since they never brought any out and they took a while to come out we where really hungry so that kinda bothered us. We also received a call from the hostess telling us our table was ready half way through our food when she was the one that sat us. Maybe management should talk to the servers and tell them to drop that attitude because after that I don’t think anyone will want to return as well as training the...
