Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in El Paso

*Update part 2 2025 update. I live near by and stop at this location once in a while. For a good moment things were looking good until today. Groovy fries were stale, extremely hard, and strangely hot all at the same time. Found only two good fries in the large order. The young girl working drive through...I felt like I was speaking to a 7th grader. She fit the stereotypical teenager vibe of not caring. The only thing missing was the rolling of her eyes. Hopefully she improves. Her attitude and vibe might not be intentional, but if she doesn't come to the realization of how she comes across, business could suffer. I might try this location some other time, but the sonic near yarbrough is more consistent with quality and service.

Old Review: Service has lessened over time. Orders have been wrong as of late. Today, for example (Jan 2023), our burger was actually missing a burger patty! I get wrong orders happen, but no meat!? Also, the corn dogs must have been dipped in the depths of Mordor...burned to a crisp! Hopefully they get back on track to making it a pleasurable place to get food at.

-5! Horrible service! The lady brought our order wrong more than once, (3 times) we felt she was doing it on purpose. When we asked her if she checked the orders before she took them out of the restaurant she simply said “ i don’t make them” rolling her eyes at us the whole time. When we asked for the manager she spoke to us all Spanish even though we had spoken to her in English.. it might of been because we had Mexican plates. She only said “yeah sorry” and even though she brought us other drinks she took no bother to anything we said. So we didn’t except her apology and here we are now writing reviews.This is what happens when you have “no sabo 19 year old kids” as managers who don’t give damb about anything.. that’s right I said it! You can discriminate my plate I can discriminate your age! 🙄 to you too...

I pulled up to sonic and was going to order outside and we couldn’t hear the voice of phonics employee through the speaker. And when we said hello, an angry voice yelled back at us. “How can I help you!” We ordered two drinks and a hot fudge sundae. When we got to the window, a girl with glasses said the total and took her card. She gave us our cards back and just shoved our drinks onto us. One is a drink we asked for extra flavors to be added in, and when we noticed the real cream wasn’t in it, we waited for her to come back to the window. She clearly saw us and didn’t come back. Finally we waved her down she asked “what we wanted.” I explained there wasn’t real cream she got defensive and told us she put it in and there nothin else she can do for us. She closed the window on us...
