Finally got to try the OG of burritos. Everyone knows that El Paso has countless burrito establishments claiming to be the Numero 1... However everyone keeps coming back to Rafa's and for Good reason. First thing to notice is that there will be a wait but I promise it is worth it. We ordered through the Drive Thru window and you can see the cooks and the tortilleras working hard to achieve the perfect burrito. The size of the tortillas and the amount of guisado (filling) that they use will leave you AMAZED. No joke the "regular" burrito tortilla is big and they have an even bigger size. The service was great and although there was a lot of cars waiting we didn't have to wait too long despite ordering like 8 burritos. I always stick to the classic burrito de chile relleno (cheese filled pepper with beans) and it was just the right amount of spicy. The salsa verde (green) included is also very good. Literally waited two hours while every other vehicle got their orders just to come home and notice the bread missing so he went back and asked if he could get the bread and at least get the menudo warmed up the lady said no to warming up our food and argued that the bread was in our bag because she put it in herself. She also said of course it was cold the ticket was from over an hour ago but he couldn’t explain how he had been waiting for the order because we aren’t fluent in Spanish. Just over all annoyed I tried to call and explain as well but the lady who answered wasn’t even willing to listen and when I asked for someone who spoke English she got hostile and told me the person had already left....
