Finally got to try the OG of burritos. Everyone knows that El Paso has countless burrito establishments claiming to be the Numero 1... However everyone keeps coming back to Rafa's and for Good reason. First thing to notice is that there will be a wait but I promise it is worth it. We ordered through the Drive Thru window and you can see the cooks and the tortilleras working hard to achieve the perfect burrito. The size of the tortillas and the amount of guisado (filling) that they use will leave you AMAZED. No joke the "regular" burrito tortilla is big and they have an even bigger size. The service was great and although there was a lot of cars waiting we didn't have to wait too long despite ordering like 8 burritos. I always stick to the classic burrito de chile relleno (cheese filled pepper with beans) and it was just the right amount of spicy. The salsa verde (green) included is also very good. If you are a first time visitor to EP or you have friends or family that want to get to know EP do them a favor and take them to...

When I deside to come, they are closed and when they are finally open, there is nothing I want... I request the same 3 things and there is none never. I have to buy a lottery ticket if I do get what I request. Why do I still come here? My mom loves the Asadero and it's close to my dad's work so he always insists on going there. that is why I have many experiences here. When i Finally get something that I can eat, it takes like 45 min... The tables are always sticky, the restrooms are never clean . BUT the waitresses are incredibly nice, comprehensive and constantly check up on you. the big burritos, are actually big. the size of your arm, and prices are reasonable. and the menudo and caldo is super good if your hangover (or so my dad says) Other than that, it's not a place you wanna take a date or to impress your in-laws. but it's good enough for my parents or when you...

Had not only the worst but the rudest experience ever earlier today. My husband went to get us caldo de res but they were out which was fine he got us menudo instead. Literally waited two hours while every other vehicle got their orders just to come home and notice the bread missing so he went back and asked if he could get the bread and at least get the menudo warmed up the lady said no to warming up our food and argued that the bread was in our bag because she put it in herself. She also said of course it was cold the ticket was from over an hour ago but he couldn’t explain how he had been waiting for the order because we aren’t fluent in Spanish. Just over all annoyed I tried to call and explain as well but the lady who answered wasn’t even willing to listen and when I asked for someone who spoke English she got hostile and told me the person had already left....

The food was excellent and everyone was friendly. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars for service is because we had to ask if we could get refills, they didn't come check on us, and my son got up 3 times to open the door for one of the servers that kept getting locked out when she was doing take out orders. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit.
