When we were seated for lunch, we were told our waitress would be right with us. They weren't busy - there were just four of us and only three others at the bar. It took the waitress almost ten minutes to come to the table to take drink orders. My father-in-law's drink came in a can. He asked for a glass. I left to use the restroom, checked out the Thunderdome, talked to a guy who was working in there, and returned to the table, all before his glass arrived. When a server takes a drink order involving canned beverages, why would they not ask if the customer wanted a glass with that, instead of serving a can without a glass and making the customer ask for one and then wait to enjoy his drink until the server can get around to bringing the glass? That's just poor service - ask the customer when taking the order. Sheeesh. And the burger and slider buns were so stale and hard, I had to skip the buns and eat my burger with a knife and fork - first time for everything. The service was awful, wait times excessive, and burger buns inedible - that just about sums it up. Won't be back.
This was the owner's response: Hi Bruce. Thanks for the feedback. After speaking with our team about this incident, they mentioned that when the manager checked on your table there were no complaints. In the future, we encourage you to be honest in those moments (rather than taking a local business rating down with a 1 star review) so we (or any small business)can make it right on the spot. We would have been happy to replace your toasted buns with ones that didn’t get toasted.
These are the facts: The owner has posted a dishonest reply attempting to shame me for my review, saying I never complained about the stale burger bun and if I had, they would have replaced it. I did complain to Kristina, our server, at the time. She brought out an untoasted bun which was just as stale as the toasted bun, and I couldn't eat either one. After the meal, I gave Kristina feedback on the stale buns - three of us had either burger buns or slider buns - none of us could eat them. To the owner: instead of attempting to shame a customer by using false allegations over an honest review, how about buying some fresh buns?
And no manager ever checked our table. Our only contact was with the server. I am guessing the owner will not retract their dishonest reply. However, their reply did cause me to post this review on Trip Advisor, in...
Read moreDecided to finally check it out & give it a try. The place is clean & is brightly colored. We were greeted & seated right away. We looked over the menu for a bit since it was our first time there. As mentioned in their socials, everything is a la cart. It's a fairly limited menu. The server was very helpful in answering questions and explained that they suggest ordering 2-4 items per person to get your fill. They do have a few $10 meal deals on the menu & we realized if we waited 5 more minutes, those same deals were their "lightning round" deals for that day. Instead of $10, they would only be $5 and included fries & a drink. We don't drink pop or beer, but it was still cheaper to go that route. One of us got the 2 classic sliders with fries & then the other opted for the grilled chicken strips & fries. The food arrived quickly. Now, I have a small appetite & it doesn't take much to fill me. I will gladly order off of the kids' menu at restaurants if I'm able to, or sometimes an appetizer section. What arrived definitely looked like a kids' meal. Again, we were ok with it. If I had been there with my hubby, we would've spent a small fortune to make an entree to his filling and he's not a big guy. The sliders were good & so were the waffle fries. The grilled chicken tenders were very greasy for grilled chicken & they were just 3 tiny slices of chicken breast, like what you would get on top of a salad. So, all in all, what we had was ok, especially for the price. I can't say I'd be happy spending more if it weren't on special. I wouldn't recommend for those of you with large appetites. We also felt the dessert options were pricey.
And just a heads-up (has nothing to do with the review stars), the water is freezing in the ladies room. We were literally washing our hands in ice water. It never twitched in temperature even after leaving it running for a bit. You might wanna check on your...
Read moreThe food is very greasy and the entire menu would make a great kids menu, no real adult options, I had their 1/4 pound double cheese burger ,a basket of onion rings and an unsweetened tea it was $19.99 , my better half ( who barely eats enough to keep a bird alive) had a single cheese burger , fries and a diet coke for $13.34, the food had good flavor but it is very small, it was funny that the talk with our other guest was that we could go to checkers and get a big Burford for dessert, our other guest ordered 2 meals and still left hungry, we will probably never return but You may want to invest in an adult sized menu like one can get at Mojo's or Madden's, best of luck with Your new business. You couldn't be more wrong I don't leave a review to possibly teardown a local business, I only leave a review if I find little to no value in a business, You stated that You have specials of a meal and a beer for less than $10 , where are these specials? Not on the menu and not on the tables in fact the only thing on the table was deserts advertising which consisted of 2 personal size deserts for $12.99 each and a milkshake for $6 ( adult sized for an additional $3 ) , I looked on Your website menus and they are not there either, before I go I would also like to add that I am only being truthful because everyone knows that the majority of all 5 star comments are left by employees and family members of the business owners so think about me what You want,...
