Dad's BBQ, Inc — Restaurant in Eldorado

My elderly (92 years old) mother and I went to Dad's last night for dinner. The 2 young girls did not greet us. They just stood there. I finally asked if we could sit down. The one girl was not familiar with the items on the menu. She got my sweet iced tea order wrong. My meat and bacon melt dinner was lukewarm with cold cheese. The 6 waffle fries were not warm. The bacon was so overcooked it was almost inedible. My mother's catfish dinner was lukewarm. Since they were out of mashed potatoes the substitute was a baked potato which was cold. We had to ask EACH of the girls 3 times for one slice of pie. We waited quite a while for the bill. My mother had to get up and find a girl and ask for the bill so we could go home. It had not been totaled so we had no idea how much we owed. We put our food in To-Go boxes so we could heat it and have a hot meal at home. We've been to meetings at Dad's in the past. Food was not good at all! Wont recommend to anyone! Read some reviews! Wow, this place wasnt anything like a year or so ago, expensive, i thought, for the food we were served! Breaded tenderloin, and ff tasted grossly prepared in old grease, fries tasted like nasty old grease too! Geez! Left most food on our plates, like others we seen leave before us! Left hungry, and wished we would have went to mcdonalds, subway, or anyplace other than there! My friend and mother got salsbury steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, andbaked beans, they left most of their food on plate too, commenting in disgust! 39$ for the three of us to eat!! Wont ever go back there again!...

Terrible atmosphere, terrible owner woman. Lots more deserving eating establishments in the area with whom to do business with. Spend more than 30 minutes inside here and you'll see the part-owner Lori berate the waitstaff, belittle her customers, talk down on the surrounding towns, and a host of other socially unacceptable mannerisms. Don't pay for anything here with a credit card, you'll be charged an extra $3.00 for her inconvenience.
