If you are in the area this is a great place to stop for Breakfast. I like to always find highly rated local flavor restaurants to eat at when we travel. I chose this place to stop on our way to Indiana and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the dining room and restrooms were clean and the staff was attentive and personable. They joked around with us like we were regulars. We will definitely go here again.

These things made me happy: Friendly Staff. Clean Facilities. Up-to-date payment options. A quaint, cozy, farmhouse decor. These things made me sad: A lengthy wait for service and food. Some tables take a while to be cleared. Food items like biscuits were soggy from sitting in a humid environment, rendering them unappealing. The 'cream' for coffee is just milk and is left on the table for the next...

Great little cozy hometown diner. Clean. Fantastic fried chicken, and desserts are wonderful. They don't bring the check to your table--you go up and pay the cashier when you're ready to leave.
