Apologize for the long review but I feel like I owe it to this place. If you are someone who can’t read past the 2nd sentence, my advice—-JUST GO, you won’t be sorry.

It’s been a few weeks since I went there and kept meaning to write my review. I had some lamb chops from a Brazilian place yesterday and just couldn’t stop thinking about how good Marseoni’s chop were compared to this place. The restaurant is trailer with a nice large covered patio with picnic tables with his grill toward the back, allowing for conversation with the chef. An easy 2minute detour off 290 if coming back from Houston or going out that way.

Now to the food: I love love lamb and it’s hard to please me but his was top notch. Super flavorful and cooked right, medium rare!! For all you lamb haters because you had a bad piece that was too gamey for you, you must get over your fear and try his. It will bring you back around and never look back.

Not Fast food: Yes you have to wait for Arthur(owner and chef) to cook your meal but I would rather have fresh grilled than something that was sitting around.

Honestly, I enjoyed the wait. While the lamb and flatbread with cream sauce(super delicious) was cooking, he came over and we chit chatted between his grilling, which he has down to a science with timers going off to remind him to attend to the food.

TIP: IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY—- Arthur did inform me, next time, if I am in a hurry or want take out, just call ahead about 30min ahead of time so it will be ready around the time I arrive 👍.

Pricing: there is an initial sticker shock but what you get is amazing food you would expect at a high end steak house for a much higher price. So it’s all relative. The chop is a nice thick cut (~1.50”+ thick) with great grill char on top of his rub.

Once I took my first bite, that $10/chop, now seemed like a fair price.

If you are not sure about dropping $40 or so on a full meal out the gate, you can order by the piece. If you like, then order the full meal or multiple pieces like I did. Since it was very late at night(8:30pm), I just ordered 3 ala cart lamb chops and the $2 flatbread. Couldn’t be happier.

As you can see I am still thinking about how Super moist and tender that lamb was🤤

I will definitely be back, not just for the food, but for Arthur’s wonderful hospitality and relaxed atmosphere. This made my long day of meetings in houston and dealing with evening rush hour traffic trying to get back to Austin a much more pleasant trip for sure.

Note, I hadn’t tried his other dishes but if they are anything like the lamb, you...

Mmmm... Marseoni!!! Wow, where to start? I hate Marseoni for being so far from my home, in Dallas but the fact that I am willing to make a trek from Dallas to Elgin almost every weekend speaks volumes about the quality of the food and the dining experience at Marseoni. I love Marseoni because they make the most delicious Mediterranean-style barbecue in the world, period! I have truly found a culinary gem in Chef Arthur Marseoni's Mediterranean-style barbecue. Marseoni's made-to-order barbecue dishes are truly heavenly! Chef Arthur Masreoni is the best! We tried all their lamb, pork, and chicken dishes, Marseoni signature creamy and spicy sauces, and could not decide which one was the best because they were all out of this world perfect. From the perfectly marinated meats to the tantalizing signature sauces, it's clear that Marseoni's dedication to freshness and flavor shines through in every dish. Despite dining at upscale restaurants around the world, Marseoni stands out as a truly exceptional culinary experience for me. I have traveled to so many places throughout the world and dined at so many so-called "fine" dining restaurants that cost ten times more than the prices atMarseoni but I have never experienced such a "blissful culmination of gastronomical pleasure" as I experienced at Marseoni. I had a phenomenal experience here and even though I would love to keep it as my secret place of gastronomical pleasure, I love sharing, so come to Marseoni to get your share of heavenly pleasure. Marseoni has truly captured my heart (and my taste buds)! Pay Marseoni a visit and trust me, you will be obsessed with this...

MARSEONI is the best Mediterranean place I have ever tried. The chicken BBQ here is amazing. It's perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor. But what truly sets it apart are the sauces – they are the most delicious sauces in the world! Seriously, they elevate every bite to a whole new level.

Beyond the incredible food, the host is exceptional at setting up the perfect atmosphere for any party, even bringing karaoke to make the experience even more fun and memorable!

Every dish is prepared with such care, and the quality is consistently outstanding. This place is so good, you will remember it for all your life! If you're looking for an authentic, incredibly flavorful, and truly memorable Mediterranean dining experience, MARSEONI is the place to go. I can't...

Hands down THE most delicious meat in town. The must try spot if you’re passing by and the definitely eat here spot if you live close by. Definitely worth the drive. Super juicy meat with unique textures and taste! Delicious rice and potatoes. I could go on and on it was soooo good. Comes Highly recommended, can’t wait to be back! Ps. They’ve got a large variety of meats including lamb, pork, beef, chicken, ground beef and ground chicken. I had the pleasure of trying all of them and I gotta tell ya, whatever you get, you’re gonna be happy and wanting more. Plus the owners are super friendly and the service is excellent.

I had been wanting to try this food truck for a while now but never caught them while they were open. I finally got the chance to try a few days ago and WOW ! The food was amazing , and the owner- Arthur was so sweet and an amazing host👏🏼 Marseoni deserves all the hype, I feel like since it’s in a tucked away spot not a lot of people know it’s there. I got the chicken rice plate and he makes it right there for you. Also the his house sauce was so good!! Thank you Arthur ☺️
