Happy Daz — Restaurant in Elida

I usually have good experiences at this location until last night. I came to happy days 15 minutes before closing (I understanding it’s close to closing) and waited behind an SUV for over 10 minutes before that lady was helped. I pulled up to the speaker (still 5 minutes before they close) watched several employees open the back door stick their head out to look at the drive thru then laugh and shut the door. Watched a girl take the trash out and kept stopping to text not paying attention to anything but her phone. Finally at 9:01 someone gets on the intercom to say “sorry, we’re closed”. Mind you other people behind me were in line before closing as well and waited and waited. I’m not happy with the way any of us were treated. I understand the employees looked young, but they need to teach them how to act personal professional. I’m not sure if I’ll be back. This experience left...

Really good food most of the time, although can be a little inconsistent at times. 80% of the time there is something not right with my order. I’ve found that I have to request the order be read back to me at the drive through, then I have to check the receipt, then I have to thoroughly inspect the bag when it’s brought out. I keep coming back because the food is still good and there’s not much else in Elida, just gets frustrating at times.

UPDATE: Since leaving this review...I'm not sure how much it was taken into consideration, but I feel like things have been noticeably better. I'll give it a star upgrade for now. Something I could emphasize more is that they really do have some amazing menu options. Maybe I'll give it the full 5 stars if quality and service...

We were there after a lacrosse game at the sports complex next door and I have never been more disappointed. We travel a lot for sports and this was the worst food in the neighboring four states we have been to. Out of five meals none were even warm. Two burgers were sent back and the second time around the cheese on the burger was almost melted, but still looked like it came right out of the wrapper. The only redeeming thing was that the fries were good. I asked what the breaded sweet corn was and the girl who worked there said she could not describe them. REALLY. I ordered anyway and that was the surprise of the day. Like tater tots, but corn and actually good. Should have upsold those. Bad service and even...
