I must admit, as someone who is an avid Thai food eater....I was skeptical on the quality and authenticity that Elizabeth City could offer.

My wife and I had been dying to try the food for a few weeks. We went over for an early dinner a little after 3. Immediately got good vibes inside. Food smelled good, simple decor and not overdone, the tables were nice.

We snagged a seat and requested a high chair for our baby, but we were informed they do not have any. Eating with a toddler is hard enough, but eating with one in your lap is nearly impossible. I grabbed our stroller from the car and made do with what we had.

Our server was nice and polite. We ordered the spring rolls. While waiting, the owner (I think that's who it was) came over and let us know he would have high chairs tomorrow. Either he had these ordered already or saw a problem and immediately addressed it. Either way, it was an owner who was making sure he did the best.

Our spring rolls came over, and they were amazing. It's super crispy, just the right amount of filling. The dipping sauce was perfect. In fact, we liked them so much we asked for another order.

My wife had the Pad Kapow. She is a very hard person to please with food. I say she is picky, but she just knows what she likes. This dish checked all her boxes and felt like it was the most authentic Thai we have had since visiting Thailand.

I had the Tom Kha with Shrimp. This is a dish I have been craving, and no one has been able to deliver. Totally Thai hit the mark on this dish. It immediately brought me back to the island of Koh Larn. The dish was nice and spicy, just the right amount of coconut milk to balance it out.

We finished off our meal by sharing the Mango Sticky Rice. Just like the rest of the meal, it hit the spot.

Overall, the food was amazing, the staff was attentative, the price was reasonable, and we couldn't recommend it more. Thank you, Totally Thai, for showing me that Elizabeth City...

Our first time eating from here and we opted for take out due to our busy schedule today. Comfortable, clean ambiance, and friendly staff. We ordered over the phone for pick up, two chicken satay's, an order of the appetizer chicken wings, and an order of the Pad Kapow with beef and chicken. Our mistake was that we did not check our order before driving off and when we got home we received only 4 small skewers of the chicken satay for $6.95 each even though we asked for two orders and paid for two orders :( those were tasty by the way. But be sure to check your to go orders before leaving. That was a disappointment. We did not call and complain about it. Mistakes happen and figured well they got blessed with an extra $7 tip. Chicken wings were tasty and tender, but the breading was very thick, and while the chicken wings were cute and tasty, they were questionably very tiny and made you wonder how old these birds were when processed because of how tiny the wings were the peanut sauce served with the chicken satay skewers was very tasty. Definitely wished we had received our second order of it. Owner, please be sure to advise your employees to quality assure no matter how busy or not busy it is. It did not look too hectic when we walked in but what do I know. Pad kapow was tasty too. No complaints there. Small portions compared to other Thai places in Hampton roads area for the price charge and missing food, but not bad once in a while. Totally came up to $39 and change. Thai iced tea was delicious too. Tea was strong and a bit bitter, but we did not have it in a long time, so it was enjoyable nonetheless. I would recommend this place and give it...

A Gastronomic Journey Beyond Expectations From the moment I first connected with the restaurant's owner, anticipation built for three months, creating an extraordinary sense of culinary excitement. Upon finally experiencing this remarkable Thai establishment, every expectation was magnificently surpassed. Food creations were simply sublime. Everything was rich, authentic, real Thai flavors all across your tongue. The ingredient quality stood out in all our meals – each ingredient smelt as if it had just been picked moments earlier, an unparalleled freshness that transported diners directly to a Thai garden. The customer service made the whole process extraordinary. Our waiter was perfectly hospitable, and all of our requests were anticipated and met with elegant gracefully. Her care was the one that made an ordinary meal an unforgettable meal. We were thrilled to meet the Chief, a wonderful Thai lady, who ensure that all her costumers were well satisfied.

While the restaurant's current location offers a charming, intimate atmosphere, strategically relocating to a high-visibility area like vibrant downtown Elizabeth City could significantly enhance customer accessibility and attract a broader clientele. The current venue's cozy ambiance is delightful, but increased traffic could introduce more food enthusiasts to this culinary venue. I will definitely add this venue to my Introduction to Business Class assignment, for real. A must-visit destination for those seeking an authentic, flavor-rich Thai dining experience that promises to delight and...

Totally unexpected awesomeness! We met Kwand, the owner, and she is an absolute delight! Her husband was in the kitchen, skillfully whipping up dishes like fried tofu, Green Papaya Salad, and the mouthwatering N6. Pad Woon Sen with shrimp. The Green Papaya Salad was to die for—so refreshing, especially with its perfect hint of heat! The Pad Woon Sen was equally amazing. We decided to split the entree and opted for level 4 hot. The flavors were incredibly vibrant and just right for a couple that loves a good spicy kick. Most folks might want to dial down the heat a notch, but as someone who enjoys it very hot, I'd definitely go for level 5 if I wasn't sharing. And don't forget to bring your appetite—the servings are large! Totally Thia is a gem in Elizabeth City and a must-visit for any Thai food enthusiast!

So glad we found this place... We normally don't venture out to this part of NC often, but we definitely will be taking more frequent trips to eat here. My wife got the chicken Satay app and a bowl of Tom kha kai, while I got the Pad Thai and the steamed dumplings. I can confidently say that this was the best pad Thai I have had in NC. They were able to accommodate the meat combination I wanted the meal with and the "Thai hot" spicy level actually had a decent heat level. The young lady who took our orders was very attentive to us and helpful in answering questions. Thank you for the great experience today, we look forward to trying more of our favorite dishes in your establishment in the future. Keep up the great work.
